Baglietto, the renowned Italian yacht builder, has proudly launched the sixth motor yacht in its DOM133 line, named "Barbara Anne". This event marks a continuation of Baglietto's busy season of yacht launches. On April 23, in a ceremony held at Carrara harbour and attended by the yacht's owner, "Barbara Anne" made its debut. Following the launch, the yacht was transported to La Spezia for the final stages of outfitting.
"Barbara Anne" stands out due to its adherence to the design innovations initially introduced with hull number 10246 of the DOM133 line. These design choices are aimed at maximizing openness and enhancing the connection with the sea. For instance, the relocation of the main deck ventilation ducts allows for extensive full glazing on the left side of the main saloon. On the upper deck, guests can enjoy the sea breeze through two floor-to-ceiling windows that lead to expansive side balconies. Additionally, the yacht features a two-level pool at the aft, complete with the yacht's logo engraved at the bottom, while the sun deck hosts a fully custom pool, specially designed for this particular model.
The interiors of "Barbara Anne" are a testament to Leonardo Santi's creativity, drawing significant inspiration from car design. This influence is evident in the guest cabins on the lower deck, which are imbued with the iconic colors of famous automotive brands: Ferrari red, green, blue, and Lamborghini orange. The wheelhouse stands out with its bronze-coated carbon top and grille inserts that echo the aesthetics of sports cars.
The color scheme of warm cream and bronze, along with light-shade wood that features both smooth and striped patterns with LED inserts and bronze-coated finishes, gives the yacht a contemporary style and a sober, refined elegance. Noteworthy is the central staircase, crafted in striped wood with LED inserts, which is crowned by a stunning bespoke chandelier designed by Paolo Castelli. The furniture selection, both indoors and outdoors, is exclusively from Minotti, customized in specially selected fabrics to match the yacht’s elegant style.
"Barbara Anne" is not only about luxury and style but also performance. Equipped with two Caterpillar C32 engines, the yacht is capable of reaching an impressive maximum speed of 17 knots. This combination of power and elegance ensures that "Barbara Anne" is not only a sight to behold but also a pleasure to sail, providing an exceptional balance of efficiency and luxury on the water.
