The Grand Soleil 52 Performance draws inspiration from the legendary 1987 model, designed by the renowned German Frers. This modern version, crafted by Matteo Polli and Nauta Design, maintains the original yacht’s elegance while incorporating state-of-the-art technology and materials. The yacht caters to owners who seek both performance and comfort, making it ideal for long-distance cruising or competitive sailing.
With meticulous attention to detail, the Grand Soleil 52 Performance maximizes interior space without compromising on weight. The yacht features three spacious cabins, including an owner’s cabin with an ensuite bathroom. Guests can enjoy the large dinette and fully equipped kitchen, which includes three fridge-freezers. The choice of high-quality wood finishes, such as oak and teak, ensures a luxurious yet practical living space.
The Grand Soleil 52 Performance offers two distinct versions to suit different sailing preferences. The Performance version focuses on easy sailing with a simple deck plan, including a carbon bowsprit and four winches. Meanwhile, the Race version is designed for the competitive sailor, featuring six winches, a larger sail plan, and an extended carbon bowsprit. Both versions ensure an exhilarating sailing experience, with optimally positioned masts and high-performance keels
The Grand Soleil 52 Performance is equipped with cutting-edge electronic systems, including a 24V electrical system that enhances battery autonomy. The yacht’s air conditioning can be controlled in multiple zones, ensuring comfort for long voyages. Additionally, with a water tank capacity of 600 liters and a diesel tank holding 350 liters, the yacht is designed for extended trips, offering both sustainability and convenience for long-distance sailors.
The yacht is powered by a 75 horsepower Volvo Penta engine, with an optional upgrade to an 80 horsepower Yanmar engine. Saildrive transmission and advanced thrusters ensure smooth and quiet sailing. With these powerful engines, combined with its lightweight construction, the Grand Soleil 52 Performance offers both speed and reliability, making it perfect for both cruising and racing.
