Designed as a space where every detail, gesture, and plate honours the Saudi identity, NOMAS offers a dining experience that feels both deeply rooted and thoughtfully elevated. Located within Marriott Riyadh Diplomatic Quarter, the first-of-its-kind Saudi fine dining restaurant prepares for a series of Ramadan feasts that breathe new life into time-honoured dishes.
Once the sun sets over the capital, diners can break their fast by selecting from four distinct iftar menus, each offering a different interpretation of local cuisine. The first menu serves a taste of tradition, starting with a traditional bread basket and Saudi condiments of Saudi Tahini, Asher Cream, and Aseer Honey, alongside a premium dates selection and Shatlat Balilah salad. The journey continues with classic table-served appetisers, Harees soup, signature mains such as Chicken Makhtham and Kabab Miro, and a simple finish of luqaimat and seasonal fruit.
Menu Two builds on this foundation with added depth and variety while retaining the classic bread basket, Saudi dates, and chickpea salad. The experience introduces Quaker oat soup finished with Hassawi black lime, accompanied by an additional main of potato balls with Saudi pesto sauce. Guests also enjoy Hijazi sago for dessert, adding a richer close to the meal.
Menu Three begins directly with Shatlat Balilah in place of bread and dates. Guests then relish the signature appetiser selection, Chef Ahed’s slow-cooked beef soup, and a broader range of mains, including the traditional Makarona Al-Tayyibeen inspired by home-style Saudi cooking. Desserts are further enhanced with the addition of Saudi cream caramel.
For those seeking the most expansive experience, the VIP Menu presents the full expression of NOMAS’ Ramadan offering. Alongside the assorted bread basket, dates, and salad, guests enjoy an extended selection of starters, including Saudi mantu and yaghmish, followed by the full selection of main courses across the menus. The experience concludes with the most generous dessert spread, featuring luqaimat, Hijazi sago, Saudi caramel cream, and jibniyah fingers.
After iftar, NOMAS continues into the late evening with a refined à la carte suhoor menu, showcasing lighter dishes and comforting flavours ideal for sharing with loved ones.
With limited seating, early reservations are recommended to experience NOMAS during one of the most meaningful times of the year.
