After more than two decades of anticipation and an investment exceeding $1.5 billion, Egypt is finally preparing to fully open the Grand Egyptian Museum beside the Giza Pyramids. The official date has been set for November 2025. After years of partial openings that allowed visitors into select halls, the museum will finally be revealed in its entirety. For the first time, the complete collection of King Tutankhamun’s treasures over 5,400 artifacts will be displayed together.
