Camper & Nicholsons New Build Division proudly announced the delivery of Codecasa’s Hull F242, Classic Yacht 24: M/Y Vero, on July 9th, 2024. This vessel represents the epitome of luxury and craftsmanship.
From the pre-contractual phase to the present, project management was skillfully handled by Daniela Duck and Sara Maggi from Camper & Nicholsons New Build Division, with Carmen Lau, senior advisor at Camper & Nicholsons Asia, playing a pivotal role. Lau reflects on the journey, emphasizing the seamless collaboration across various departments, ensuring a smooth and successful delivery of the yacht to the client.
Designed by Luca Dina Design & Architecture, Vero is an all-aluminum yacht that seamlessly blends classic structural lines with modern technology. The yacht features vintage touches of mahogany and is powered by 1550hp MAN V12 engines, offering a top speed of 25 knots and a range of over 2,000 nautical miles.
Ennio Buonomo, CEO of Codecasa, highlights the masterful collaboration between the Codecasa Shipyard Builder’s Team, led by Project Manager Roberto Dalle Mura, and the invaluable support from Gabriele Codecasa and Matteo Buonomo. The teamwork and professionalism displayed during the construction phase were crucial to the project’s success.
Beyond the sale, Camper & Nicholsons offer a range of corporate services to ensure a holistic yacht ownership experience. These include flagging of the vessel, insurance provision, and continued yacht management, handled by Shek Fung, fleet manager at Camper & Nicholsons Asia.
Vero is set to depart from the Mediterranean in the coming weeks, heading to Asia, where it will be eagerly awaited. This transition marks the beginning of a new chapter for the luxurious yacht and its owner, promising many happy moments on the high seas.
