Sindalah Island, the first luxury tourism destination in Neom, has set a new benchmark for high-end travel in Saudi Arabia. From an untouched land in 2022 to a world-class resort, the island was developed in record time by a workforce of over 30,000 at its peak. This transformation reflects Neom’s commitment to Saudi Vision 2030, positioning the kingdom as a global luxury tourism hub.
Situated in the northwest of Saudi Arabia, just five kilometers off the coast, Sindalah spans over 9 million square feet. Its prime location places it just 17 sailing hours from major Mediterranean ports, making it an attractive alternative to the Caribbean for yacht owners seeking an exclusive winter getaway.
Designed by Luca Dini Design & Architecture, Sindalah’s layout seamlessly integrates advanced technology with the island’s breathtaking scenery. The destination is home to luxury resorts, world-class restaurants, and elite hospitality experiences, placing it in competition with Monaco, Cannes, and other iconic yachting destinations. By 2028, the island is expected to host up to 2,400 guests daily, offering 440 hotel rooms, 88 exclusive villas, and 218 serviced luxury apartments.
Tailored for the yachting community, Sindalah boasts a state-of-the-art marina with 86 berths, alongside the prestigious Sindalah Yacht Club designed by Stefano Ricci. The island also features offshore mooring buoys catering to superyachts, ensuring an unparalleled experience for elite travelers.
Surrounded by a rich marine ecosystem with over 1,100 fish species and 300 coral types, Sindalah prioritizes sustainable development. The island integrates eco-conscious initiatives to protect its unique marine biodiversity while offering guests a luxury experience that respects nature.
Sindalah is rapidly emerging as a premier global destination, blending opulence, adventure, and sustainability. As Neom’s inaugural tourism project, the island encapsulates the ambitious vision of redefining high-end travel in Saudi Arabia.
