From next-generation yacht design to fully supported global voyages, Oyster Yachts expand their vision for modern ocean adventure and lifelong ownership.
Oyster Yachts, the iconic British builder of the world’s finest luxury bluewater sailing yachts, has announced a major step forward in their evolution following a year of record-breaking sales and strong financial performance. At a special Private View event at London’s St Katharine Docks, the company unveiled plans for the Oyster 805, a striking new 80-foot model that blends superyacht sophistication with exceptional bluewater capability.
The launch marks a defining moment for Oyster, reinforcing their position as a global leader in luxury ocean exploration and bespoke yacht ownership. The momentum is further underlined by the appointment of Torsten Müller-Ötvös, former CEO of Rolls-Royce Motor Cars, as Strategic Advisor. His leadership at Rolls-Royce transformed the historic brand into a modern luxury powerhouse. Torsten’s insight will be invaluable as the brand refines and globalizes the Oyster story.

Designed in collaboration with Humphreys Yacht Design, the new Oyster 805 introduces the next generation of bluewater performance. Positioned between the Oyster 745 and 885 Series II, the 805 offers larger hull ports and saloon windows, flexible interior configurations, and optional features such as a day bar and private office. The new model will be built to order, with the first hull expected to launch in 2027.

Each voyage is fully curated and supported by Oyster’s expert team, making global cruising accessible, safe, and unforgettable. From remote island chains to high latitude adventures, owners can experience true adventure—without compromise.
The Bluewater Academy – Designed for both emerging and experienced sailors, the Academy offers a refined approach to skill development through personalized, onboard training aboard Oyster yachts. Every program is shaped by experienced instructors to match the unique aspirations of each participant. Practical, hands-on learning takes place in the context of real-world passages, allowing familiarity with vessel operations, navigation, and life at sea. Small-group or one-to-one formats ensure a focused and flexible experience. As a pathway into the wider Oyster community, the Academy also connects participants to a network of events, knowledge-sharing, and shared exploration across the globe.
The Oyster 595 Series II – An updated and refreshed look at Oyster’s best-selling model, the Series II version of their 60-foot yacht includes evolved styling with larger hull ports and expanded seascape windows, remastered features below deck and upgraded connected technologies throughout.
The new Explorers Club and Bluewater Academy extend the spirit of the Oyster World Rally—a one-of-a-kind, fully supported global voyage spanning 27 destinations and 27,000 nautical miles. The 2028–29 Rally, departing from Antigua, still has limited availability, with Oyster’s dedicated concierge, technical, and logistics teams providing continuous support every step of the way.

Earlier this year, Oyster reported strong financial results for FY 2024/25, marking a significant turnaround and cementing their place as a revitalized force in the global yachting industry. The Private View showcased four models—Oyster 565, 595, 675 and 885 Series II—and drew hundreds of guests, including current owners, prospective clients, and sailing enthusiasts. Attendees also took part in masterclasses covering offshore cruising, weather routing, and high-latitude sailing.
