Motorola is preparing to expand its flagship smartphone lineup with the upcoming Motorola Edge 70 Max, a device designed to deliver longer battery life without compromising premium performance. Recent official teasers and leaks suggest the phone will combine a record-breaking battery, advanced charging technology, and flagship-level hardware, making it one of Motorola's most ambitious releases to date.
The Motorola Edge 70 Max is expected to feature a huge 7,100mAh battery, making it the largest battery ever fitted inside a Motorola smartphone. According to the company, the battery can deliver up to 58 hours of usage on a single charge, offering a significant advantage for gamers, travelers, and users who rely on their phones throughout the day. Despite the increased capacity, Motorola is positioning the device as a premium flagship with a refined design rather than simply focusing on battery size.
Motorola complements the large battery with 90W TurboPower wired charging and 25W magnetic wireless charging based on the Qi2 standard, allowing users to recharge quickly while supporting magnetic accessories. Beyond battery technology, the smartphone is expected to include a Snapdragon 8 Gen 5 processor, a Quad HD+ LTPO display with a 144Hz refresh rate and up to 7,000 nits of peak brightness, plus advanced cooling designed to sustain high performance during demanding tasks. Together, these features position the Edge 70 Max as a serious competitor in the premium Android smartphone market.
