Nespresso is thrilled to unveil their latest collection of coffees, machines and accessories as they continue their collaboration with Samra Origins, the artisanal coffee brand co-branded with the legendary Abel “The Weeknd” Tesfaye. This collection introduces fresh products that will enhance the coffee experience in select markets, including the UAE. Blending Nespresso’s coffee expertise with The Weeknd’s unique artistry, together they have created a new Samra Origins Tanzania coffee, using 100% Arabica from the Northern Highlands of Tanzania, along with a Vertuo Pop machine and a collection of accessories, celebrating the everyday magic that coffee brings.
Drawing from The Weeknd’s roots, Samra Origins is a love letter to his mother, Samra, whose unwavering support has always shaped his path and inspired his artistry. The partnership with Nespresso celebrates the beauty of everyday coffee rituals and the authentic connections forged through these intimate moments. The limited-edition Samra Origins Tanzania is a single-origin coffee featuring 100% washed Arabica sourced from the Mount Kilimanjaro region in the Northern Highlands of Tanzania. Combining The Weeknd’s modern artistry and Nespresso’s coffee expertise, Samra Origins Tanzania blends acidity and delicate fruit notes with dry cereal notes to create an unforgettable coffee experience. Samra Origins is set to launch for both the Original and Vertuo systems, alongside a special Vertuo Pop coffee machine adorned with the collaboration’s logo. The collection also includes accessories such as an exclusive tumbler and travel mug, each featuring signature branding and an elevated colour palette. The rollout will take place in phases across online and boutique channels: Samra Origins Original capsules and accessories will be available in the UAE this September, followed by the Vertuo Pop+ machine in October, and the Vertuo capsules in November.

Nespresso first announced the partnership in Spring 2025, along with its sponsorship of The Weeknd’s North American ‘After Hours Til Dawn’ tour. The new collection drops feature the Nespresso | Samra Origins by The Weeknd Tanzania Original coffee, which will debut online and in Nespresso boutiques across the UAE from September while the branded Vertuo Pop machine and the Tanzania coffee for the Vertuo system will be released later in the fall.
