Sony has once again redefined the world of wireless audio with the launch of its new LinkBuds series. First introduced in 2022, the LinkBuds line blends style with cutting-edge technology, offering innovative features in both wireless earbuds and portable speakers. The new additions to the LinkBuds family promise to elevate user experiences with their sleek design and advanced functionality.
Sony's LinkBuds Fit features a comfortable new design that helps cancel out external noise, while the Auto Ambient Sound Mode automatically adjusts the surrounding sound based on the user’s environment. Additionally, these earbuds come with a unique control system called Wide Area Tap, allowing users to control music simply by tapping in front of their ear. Available in black, white, and green, the earbuds also come in a special edition color developed in collaboration with artist Olivia Rodrigo.
The LinkBuds Open stands out with its unique open-loop design, which lets users stay aware of their surroundings while enjoying music. With Adaptive Volume Control, the earbuds adjust the volume automatically based on the user’s location. Available in black and white, the earbuds also feature a limited-edition purple color created with Olivia Rodrigo.
Alongside the earbuds, Sony introduced the portable LinkBuds Speaker, designed to be durable and highly mobile. With the Auto Switch feature, the speaker intelligently switches between devices based on the user's activity. Its smart design makes it the ideal choice for those seeking a portable audio solution with high-quality sound.
Sony offers various customization possibilities for LinkBuds products through interchangeable covers and supports that can be adjusted to suit personal preferences. The LinkBuds Fit and LinkBuds Open are available for pre-order at $200 each, while the LinkBuds Speaker is available for pre-order in the U.S. starting at $180.
