The Wave combines high-fidelity analogue playback with Auracast™ broadcast audio, aptX HD Bluetooth streaming and an upgrade-friendly design
Victrola has launched the Wave turntable in a new Walnut finish which combines precision analogue playback and the latest wireless audio technology. The popular Victrola Tempo Bluetooth bookshelf speakers are also available in the same finish to create a full vinyl system.
Designed for music lovers looking to enjoy vinyl with greater flexibility, the Wave delivers high-quality performance through carefully selected components while enabling records to be streamed wirelessly to compatible speakers and headphones.
A big step-up for your vinyl
Engineered around a low-resonance MDF plinth, the Victrola Wave has been designed to minimise unwanted vibration and maximise audio performance. An aluminium platter, silicone anti-vibration slipmat and lightweight aluminium tonearm work together to provide stable, accurate playback, while an easy-set counterweight helps users achieve optimal tracking performance with minimal setup.
The Wave in the Walnut finish is fitted with an upgraded Ortofon OM 5E moving magnet cartridge, delivering detailed, balanced sound with excellent tracking. A removable headshell also offers the flexibility to upgrade cartridges in the future, making the Wave suitable for both newcomers to vinyl and more experienced enthusiasts.
One of the Wave's key features is integrated Auracast™ Broadcast Audio support, enabling vinyl playback to be shared with an unlimited number of compatible Auracast-enabled speakers and headphones. The tech transforms the traditional listening experience by allowing records to be enjoyed throughout the home or shared with multiple listeners simultaneously, all without the need for cables.
Alongside Auracast compatibility, the Wave supports high-quality Bluetooth audio transmission with aptX™ Adaptive and aptX™ HD codecs, allowing compatible wireless speakers and headphones to receive enhanced audio quality with low latency and improved performance. The combination of analogue playback and advanced wireless connectivity offers everyone greater freedom to set up their system in a way that suits their living space.
An easy hi-fi upgrade which offers vinyl and streaming
The Wave been designed to integrate seamlessly into a wide range of home audio systems. A built-in switchable phono preamp allows the turntable to connect directly to powered speakers, while RCA outputs make it equally suitable for traditional amplifiers and hi-fi systems. Bluetooth input functionality also enables music from compatible smartphones to be played through connected audio equipment, adding further versatility beyond vinyl playback.
Ease of use has been central to the Wave's design. Front-mounted controls simplify operation, while selectable playback speeds support both 33⅓ and 45 RPM records.
The Wave has been developed to complement Victrola's Tempo Bluetooth Bookshelf Speakers, creating a matching system that combines premium design with wireless flexibility.
The Wave is also available as a limited edition with Third Man Records...
For collectors, Victrola has also introduced a limited-edition collaboration with Third Man Records in the US. Finished in the label's signature yellow and black colours, the special edition includes exclusive Third Man Records branding and a custom slipmat while retaining all of the performance and connectivity features found across the Wave range.
