Adidas has unveiled its first-ever padel shoe, the CRAZYQUICK Lightstrike, designed to meet the specific needs of padel players. As one of the fastest-growing sports worldwide, padel requires footwear that supports the multi-directional and explosive movements typical of the game. The CRAZYQUICK Lightstrike is set to launch globally on October 1, 2024, both in stores and online, marking Adidas' continued commitment to providing innovative products for athletes of all levels.
Adidas has integrated some of its most advanced technologies into the CRAZYQUICK Lightstrike, including the LIGHTSTRIKE MIDSOLE, which provides fast sprint capability and dynamic movement support. The lightweight Sling-Frame construction ensures stability during quick changes in direction, while the multidirectional traction pattern offers superior grip across the court, allowing players to maximize their agility and speed.
Developed in collaboration with top padel players like Ale Galan and Marta Ortega, the CRAZYQUICK Lightstrike is tailored to suit the needs of all skill levels. The shoe balances performance-enhancing features like ultra-light cushioning and rotational traction with comfort, providing the support needed for both pros and newcomers to the game.
With over a decade of involvement in the padel sport, from designing high-performance rackets to building courts worldwide, adidas continues to push boundaries by launching its first dedicated padel shoe. This release solidifies the brand’s commitment to the sport and the athletes who play it, providing next-generation footwear that helps enhance the game both on and off the court.
The CRAZYQUICK Lightstrike will be available worldwide from October 1, 2024. Players can find the shoe on the adidas website, in select stores, and through the adidas app, making it accessible to padel enthusiasts everywhere. Additional models are expected to follow later this year, further expanding adidas' range of specialized footwear for padel.
