CamelBak, the global leader in personal hydration products, proudly introduces the fully redesigned H.A.W.G. 20. This new MTB backpack combines cutting-edge technology, sustainability, and functionality to meet the demands of avid mountain bikers and outdoor enthusiasts.
First launched in 1996, the H.A.W.G. (Hauls A lot of Water and Gear) has received a comprehensive revamp for the 2025 MTB Collection. The new version focuses on versatility, making it perfect for big mountain riding and backcountry adventures.
The H.A.W.G. 20 is the first MTB backpack to include RECCO Technology, featuring a sewn-in RECCO reflector. This technology makes users searchable by rescue professionals worldwide in case of an accident or if they get lost.
This 20-liter backpack is made from strong and sustainable Cordura RE/COR fabric, composed of 100% recycled materials from post-industrial waste. The material is robust and water-resistant, further protected by a DWR coating that is 100% PFAS free.
The H.A.W.G. 20 offers multiple waterproof features, including waterproof zips on the outer waist-belt pockets and a large central overflow pocket. The inner waterproof lining has an extra layer to keep the core of the backpack dry.
This unisex backpack has a fully adjustable torso length for a perfect fit. It features a body-mapped back panel designed with the University of Connecticut to offer maximum back support and airflow during long rides.
The internal storage has been redesigned for better organization and easy access. The H.A.W.G. 20 includes nine different pockets to accommodate all essentials, from energy supplies to bike tools and safety kits.
The H.A.W.G. 20 can accommodate the CamelBak Impact Protector (sold separately), which absorbs up to 95% of impact in case of a fall, offering one of the lightest and most flexible protection panels on the market.
The new H.A.W.G. 20 will be available for purchase online at camelbak.com and in selected European bike shops starting from Q1 2025.
