With just days remaining until Dubai Run 2025, presented by Mai Dubai, organisers are issuing a final call to action for residents and visitors to collect their bibs for what promises to be the biggest edition yet of the world's largest free community run.
Taking place on Sunday, 23 November, this flagship event of Dubai Fitness Challenge (DFC) will once again transform Sheikh Zayed Road and Downtown Dubai into the world’s most extraordinary running track, offering participants of all ages and abilities the chance to run past some of the city's most recognisable landmarks including the Museum of the Future, Dubai Water Canal, and Burj Khalifa.
Last year's edition saw 278,000 runners take to the streets – a 23% increase from the previous year – making Dubai Run the largest free community run in the world.
Building on this momentum, this year's entertainment lineup continues to raise the bar with aerial stunt paramotors, giant LED puppets and warrior drum crews lighting up the pre-dawn holding areas, a 55-piece marching band, stilt walkers and circus performers along the routes, UNTOLD DJs and celebrity MCs Kris Fade and Katie Overy, refreshing mist and bubble arches at the finish lines, and mascot characters throughout the event. Mai Dubai hydration stations will be positioned along the routes and at finish lines to ensure all participants have access to water throughout their run.
Runners can choose between two scenic routes: a 5km route perfect for families, beginners, and casual joggers, finishing near Dubai Mall on Mohammed Bin Rashid Boulevard; and a 10km route for experienced runners, finishing at DIFC Gate Building.
Both routes offer unparalleled views of Dubai's skyline and landmark architecture, creating a truly unique running experience. Dedicated start zones, accessible facilities, and volunteer support will once again ensure that People of Determination can fully participate in the run, reinforcing the inclusive spirit that defines DFC and brings the entire community together.
Bib and T-shirt collection, provided by Sun and Sand Sports, is taking place at the Dubai Municipality 30x30 Fitness Village Zabeel Park until 22 November, giving runners the perfect opportunity to explore a variety of activities and soak up the atmosphere.
