  • What makes the PFL MENA Pride of Arabia weekend in Dubai a must-watch event?

PFL MENA and Dubai Department of Economy and Tourism (DET) have revealed that every Pride of Arabia fight night ticket comes with an extraordinary bonus - complimentary access to live performances from two of the Arab world's biggest entertainment icons, Mohamed Ramadan and Bader Al Shuaibi, at the Press Conference and Ceremonial Weigh-in on Saturday May 23 at Coca-Cola Arena, Dubai.

The shows come as part of a landmark two-night sporting and entertainment weekend in Dubai that could not be better timed - with UAE schools off for nine days ahead of Eid Al Adha, families across the city have the perfect reason to make Coca-Cola Arena their first stop of the holidays.

The May 23 concerts set the tone for a weekend that has something for everyone - world-class live music, heart-stopping sporting action inside the cage, and fighters representing eleven nations across the Middle East and North Africa all competing at the 2026 PFL MENA season opener. This is the one not to miss.

Ramadan - the Egyptian actor, music artist and producer who has become one of the Middle East's most influential entertainment figures - brings his electrifying stage presence to Dubai. With over 60 million Instagram followers and hundreds of millions of streams globally, his hits including "Number One," "Mafia," and his global collaboration "Ya Habibi" with French rapper Gims have cemented his status as one of the region's biggest stars. In 2023 he became the first Arab artist ever to perform at Coachella and as a lifelong MMA fan, the Pride of Arabia stage represents the perfect collision of two worlds he lives and breathes.

Joining him is Al Shuaibi, the Saudi pop star whose smooth vocals and Khaleeji-rooted sound have made him one of the Arab world's most beloved artists. Having shot to fame across the GCC and beyond with hits including "Mahsoma," "Ya Hob," and "Yalghair," Al Shuaibi has built a following that stretches from the Gulf to the global stage - his collaboration with K-Pop star Alexa even earned him a billboard in New York's Times Square.

Each artist will deliver an exclusive 45-minute concert following the PFL MENA Press Conference & Ceremonial Weigh-in, with doors opening at 7pm - fans are encouraged to arrive early to secure their spot. The live entertainment experience is made possible in partnership with Anghami, the leading music and entertainment streaming platform in the MENA region, whose partnership with PFL MENA has brought both artists to the Pride of Arabia stage. Anghami will also be curating exclusive Pride of Arabia fight night playlists for fans looking to set the mood ahead of the weekend.

The two performances set the stage for what follows inside the cage on May 24, where UAE star Mohammad "The UAE Warrior" Yahya (12-6) makes his long-awaited PFL debut against Tunisia's Mehdi Saadi (6-2) in the Featherweight main event. Morocco's undefeated Salah "Supersalah" Eddine Hamli (11-0) faces Algeria's veteran Ylies "Broly" Djiroun (24-9) in the Lightweight co-main event, while 18-year-old Emirati trailblazer Zamzam Al Hammadi - the UAE's first female MMA fighter - makes her highly-anticipated debut in front of a home crowd.

"I've been a fan of MMA for a long time - the discipline, the heart, the courage it takes to step into that cage is something I deeply respect. To be performing at PFL MENA: Pride of Arabia, in Dubai, in front of that kind of crowd this is going to be a special night. See you on May 23," said Ramadan.

Al Shuaibi added: "Dubai always brings out the best in an artist - the energy here is like nowhere else. To be part of the PFL MENA weekend alongside Mohamed Ramadan and some of the best fighters in the MENA region is an honour. I'll be bringing everything I have on May 23."

Kamil Abi Khalil, Head of Production, Anghami, stated: “The future of entertainment lies in the intersection of culture, content, and live experiences. Through this partnership with DET and PFL MENA, Anghami is excited to help create a platform that brings together some of the region’s most influential artists and athletes in a relevant way to audiences across the Arab world. Dubai continues to establish itself as a global destination for entertainment, and partnerships like this demonstrate the strength of the region’s creative and cultural ecosystem.”

Jerome Mazet, General Manager of PFL MENA, commented: "From the very beginning, our vision for PFL MENA: Pride of Arabia has been to create more than just a fight night - we want to deliver a full entertainment experience that reflects the spirit and diversity of this region. Having Mohamed Ramadan and Bader Al Shuaibi perform exclusively for our ticketholders on May 23 takes the Pride of Arabia weekend to a completely new level. Two nights, one unmissable weekend.”
