Jeddah is set to host a major motorsport milestone as the World Rally Championship arrives in Saudi Arabia for the very first time. The event brings global attention to the city’s rugged desert landscapes, challenging terrains, and passion for high-adrenaline experiences perfectly aligning with the adventurous spirit of Saudi and Arab men who enjoy speed, precision, and world-class competition.
The rally kicks off on Tuesday, 25 November with a special parade of P1 cars cruising along the Jeddah Corniche toward ROSHN Waterfront, creating an energetic build-up before the competition begins. On Wednesday, 26 November, the Jameel Motorsport Super Special Stage allows fans to get close to the drivers and cars for the first time, turning the entire city into a celebration of motorsport. These opening days set the tone for an action-packed week filled with entertainment, engines, and excitement.
WRC is known for pushing drivers to their absolute limits, and Saudi Arabia’s mixed terrains make the challenge even more intense. Wide sandy stretches, sharp open turns, and unpredictable hill crests demand fast reflexes and flawless control. Drivers face shifting sand, inconsistent grip, and rapidly changing light conditions all while maintaining high speeds. Even the smallest mistake can change the outcome of the stage. This round becomes a proving ground not only for drivers but also for engineers who must optimize suspension, tires, and performance under extreme pressure.
The season finale brings together three powerhouse teams.
Toyota Gazoo Racing enters with strong momentum, led by world champion Sébastien Ogier alongside Vincent Landis, Elfyn Evans with Scott Martin, and Kalle Rovanperä with Jon Haltunen. Takamoto Katsuta and Aaron Johnston add depth to a team aiming to secure the manufacturers’ title.
M-Sport Ford fields Grégoire Munster, Martins Sessex, Josh McLaren, and Qatari legend Nasser Al-Attiyah with Cándido Carrera a highlight that brings a proud Arab presence to the championship.
Hyundai Shell Mobis pushes for a strong season finish with Thierry Neuville, Ott Tänak, and Adrien Fourmeaux, keeping the competition fierce across all stages.
The event is fully open to the public from 25 to 29 November, offering an ideal opportunity for Saudi and Arab motorsport enthusiasts to experience WRC up close. The Jeddah Corniche becomes the hub for car displays and fan interactions, while Circuit Jeddah hosts the main stages with family-friendly setups, entertainment zones, and live performances. Fans can enjoy the roar of engines, meet teams, and immerse themselves in a week of high-energy motorsport culture all at no cost.
