Originally introduced in 2014, the ProPilot Altimeter revolutionized wristwatches by combining an automatic movement with a fully functioning mechanical altimeter. Capable of measuring altitude up to 19,700 feet, it has become a benchmark for innovation in Swiss watchmaking. With the ‘Mission Control’ edition, Oris takes this pioneering model to new frontiers, collaborating with Bamford Watch Department to create a design inspired by space exploration, vibrant color, and futuristic adventure. The ProPilot Altimeter ‘Mission Control’ combines breakthrough materials and advanced mechanics with bold aesthetics: a 47 mm carbon-fibre composite case lighter than titanium yet stronger than steel, Oris Calibre 793 with a 56-hour power reserve, an integrated mechanical altimeter, a high-contrast dial with yellow, lime, and red details, a grey PVD titanium bezel and case back with conversion scale, a black textile strap with colored lining, water resistance up to 100 meters, and a Swiss retail price of CHF 6,700. Available in September 2025 and limited to 250 pieces, it is a true example of Swiss innovation.

Beyond technical achievement, the design is playful and instantly recognizable. George Bamford wanted the piece to channel the energy of 80s sneakers, using bright accents to enhance both legibility and style.
