Abu Dhabi is set to welcome a highly anticipated Ritz-Carlton Reserve, an ultra-luxury resort featuring exclusive floating villas. This marks a significant milestone for the UAE, as it becomes the ninth location of its kind globally, promising to offer an unparalleled blend of opulence, privacy, and breathtaking waterfront views. Nestled on the pristine Ramhan Island, this new addition is poised to redefine luxury hospitality in the region and offer guests an unforgettable experience amidst the serene beauty of the Arabian Gulf.
Marriott International Inc. and property developer Eagle Hills announced the signing of an agreement to open the first Ritz-Carlton Reserve in the UAE. This new property, to be built on Ramhan Island, will feature 50 private luxury villas ranging from one to four bedrooms and the region's first Maldives-like floating villas with unobstructed waterfront views. The resort is expected to open in 2029 on a secluded part of Ramhan Island, situated between Yas Island and Saadiyat Island.
Ritz-Carlton Reserve is an ultra-exclusive collection of estates worldwide, with only seven existing locations. The Abu Dhabi property will join this elite group, offering an exclusive and luxurious experience with 50 private villas and floating villas. The floating villas will provide guests with breathtaking views and an unparalleled luxury experience.
Covering 43 million square feet, the resort will offer a range of three to seven-bedroom villas available for purchase, all with stunning water views. In addition to the Ritz-Carlton Reserve, the island will feature a marina with a yacht club, boutiques, restaurants, and more. This development aims to redefine luxury hospitality and provide extraordinary experiences.
Mohammad Alabbar, Chairman of Eagle Hills, stated: "This collaboration with Marriott International on Ramhan Island marks a milestone in our commitment to shaping extraordinary experiences and redefining luxury hospitality. As the first Ritz-Carlton Reserve in the UAE, it will set new standards of excellence in the world of luxury experiences." Sadded Sandeep Walia, Middle East’s Chief Operating Officer at Marriott International, added: "Together with Eagle Hills, we look forward to bringing Ritz-Carlton Reserve to the UAE and offering intimate and transformative experiences in an ultra-luxury setting. This monumental signing marks an important addition to our portfolio in the country where we continue to see a strong demand for luxury experiences."
