At the stunning Beach House, guests can enjoy Mediterranean fare paired with complex and sophisticated flavours, while at Mekong, they will journey along Asia’s greatest waterway, exploring traditional Thai and Chinese dishes reinterpreted for the modern palate.
Christmas Day
Christmas Day begins in a leisurely fashion with a late brunch at Sea Breeze. The home-away-from-home ambience is perfect for family gatherings, and feasting comes in the form of turkey, all the trimmings, panettone, stollen and a Pandoro Christmas tree cake. Little ones enjoy their very own mini buffet, along with fun, games and a surprise visit from Santa.
The dinner buffet is equally indulgent, with seafood on ice, cheese and charcuterie, sushi, mezze, wagyu and lamb. And an ice-cream station and chocolate fountain crown the experience. At Beach House and Mekong, meanwhile, guests who missed out on the exclusive tasting menus of Christmas Eve will have another chance to experience them.
New Year’s Eve
All the festive indulgence culminates with the most exclusive and exquisite of celebrations. At Mekong, revellers will be presented with a seven-course tasting menu of abalone, duck and wagyu. Couples will especially enjoy the privacy of a pod suspended over water, or a candlelit table for two on the breezy terrace overlooking the mangroves.
The grand gala, meanwhile, unfolds on the resort’s golden beachfront. No luxury has been spared, with caviar, foie gras and lobster just some of the temptations on offer. Hosting is the award winning DJ, Saif and Sound, and throughout the evening, guests can dance to the tunes of Brent Harris of Just Jinger fame all the way from South Africa, or simply sit back and enjoy the dazzling performances of the fire and cabaret dancers until midnight.
