This festive season, Metafoodies Group invites guests to celebrate the holidays at two of Downtown Dubai’s most beloved destinations, Alba Restaurant and Bisou, each offering its own expressive take on Christmas dining.
Set within Dubai Opera Plaza, both Alba and Bisou shift into festive mode for the holidays, with seasonal menus, live entertainment, and a welcoming atmosphere. Guests can enjoy a Japanese-inspired Christmas at Alba, or a classic roast with a live carving station at Bisou.

Celebrate Christmas with a touch of understated Japanese elegance at Alba. This season, the restaurant presents the Alba Christmas Experience, a refined three-course festive menu balanced with the purity and seasonality of Japanese cooking.
The experience begins with starters such as Osumashi Soup, a delicate clear dashi broth, Avo & Crab Salad with creamy avocado and Russian crabmeat, charcoal-grilled Yakitori Platter, or hand-shaped Temari sushi. Guests then choose one main from the Misoyaki Black Cod delicately marinated in yuzu miso, Robata Seabass served with cured kale and avocado, Duck Leg glazed in plum sauce, or Tiger Prawn grilled with a hint of Cajun spice. To end on a sweet note, the menu concludes with Alba’s signature matcha-infused Tiramisu.
The atmosphere comes alive with live performances, creating a warm, festive ambience that feels festive, perfect for Christmas Eve or Christmas Day celebrations.
Bisou

At Bisou, Christmas is all about togetherness and sharing. This year, the restaurant presents a Christmas Roast Experience, served at live carving stations with traditional trimmings and Bisou’s signature French-Middle Eastern flair.
Guests can enjoy starters to share, including Crab Éclair, Fried Shrimp with Tomatoes & Feta, Potato & Cheese Croquettes with Za’atar, Brioche with Beef Tartare & Parmesan, fresh salads, and parmesan-truffle fries, followed by a selection of roasts such as Seabass, Beef Tenderloin with Black Pepper Sauce, and French Roast Duck, served with mashed potatoes and roasted vegetables.
To finish, the table shares a whole Christmas cake created exclusively for the festive season. An 8-time Grammy-nominated pianist performs throughout the meal, adding a celebratory touch to the experience.
