Crafted by Thierry Wasser, Guerlain’s renowned perfumer, Jungle Chic is the olfactory signature of the Maison. With its woody and musky notes, this fragrance encapsulates the exotic essence of the Seychelles, offering guests an invitation to embark on a sensorial journey.
Drawing inspiration from traditional Creole houses of Seychelles, distinguished by their sharply sloping roofs and breezy, open structures, award-winning architect Jean-Michel Gathy designed each of the 52 villas at with soaring ceilings over four meters high. The villas open up to panoramic views of the beach and Indian Ocean, with natural light flooding in. Mirroring the exteriors to the interiors, each villa is decorated with sand-finished murals, mirrors framed by porcelain shells and decorative panels adorned with mother-of-pearl inlays.
At the forefront of the global art scene, Joël Andrianomearisoa unveils “Un souffle du temps sur la mélodie de nos songes”, an expansive artwork that flows throughout the Maison. His textile pieces – wild as untamed grass and presented in 52 variations, one for each villa and canvases created in the studio of Le White restaurant, engage in a dialogue with the raw power of the surrounding nature.
True to his passion for ancient frescoes, Parisian artist Maximilien Pellet has designed a masterful work to enhance Vivamento restaurant. Drawing inspiration from Etruscan banquets, his fresco adorns the bar with minimalist, graphic imagery, enlivened by the shimmering dance of light across its glossy, rippling surface – a celebration of Italian conviviality and the art of living.
