Since launching in September 2025, MEI has carved out its own place within Dubai's dining scene, bringing together Chinese and Japanese influences with a lively programme of entertainment that carries the experience from the table into the night. Inspired by the crane, a symbol of longevity and elegance in Asian culture, the restaurant has become a destination for everything from relaxed dinners and social gatherings to late-night celebrations.

To mark the milestone, MEI will celebrate its one-year anniversary during its Saturday Night Brunch on the 10th of October, 7 pm onwards, transforming the evening into a toast to the year gone by and the years still to come. Guests can settle in for an evening of MEI's signature dining experience, accompanied by live entertainment that will bring an energetic soundtrack to the celebration.

Adding an extra touch to the occasion, every guest will receive a complimentary glass of bubbles, creating the perfect opening toast to MEI's first year. As the evening unfolds, the restaurant will come alive with music, flowing drinks and the vibrant atmosphere that has become synonymous with MEI's nights.

The anniversary is ultimately a celebration of a year spent bringing people together around the table.
