As the city moves into its summer rhythm, Nalu and Ilios bring a renewed energy to Hudayriyat Island - where long lunches, poolside moments and lively weekend gatherings come together in a relaxed waterfront setting at Surf Abu Dhabi.
For a limited time, guests can enjoy 25% off all à la carte dining across both venues, offering a meaningful way to give back to the community while inviting guests to experience more of what each space has to offer.
Each venue carries its own distinct atmosphere. Nalu channels a laid-back, coastal spirit, while Ilios brings a refined Mediterranean edge - together creating a natural flow from weekday lunches to vibrant weekend moments.
Midday Escapes
During the week, both venues offer a reason to step away mid-day. At Nalu, the Surf Lunch is fresh, flavourful and easy to settle into, moving from Guacamole with crispy tortilla and Barbacoa Tacos to Pan-Seared Salmon and Rigatoni Bolognese, with lighter options and simple desserts to finish.
At Ilios, lunch feels elevated yet approachable, with a curated set menu that moves from Burrata with figs and walnuts and Tuna Tartare with yuzu dressing, to mains such as Grilled Octopus with fava purée or Spaghetti Chitarra with vongole and bottarga. It’s a refined mid-day experience that still feels relaxed and social.
A New Take on Weekend Brunches
As the weekend arrives, the energy builds.
At Ilios, the newly launched Saturday Brunch brings a vibrant take on Greek dining, with a three-course menu designed for sharing. Guests can move through cold starters such as Cretan salad and a selection of traditional dips served with warm pita, alongside dishes like seared Tuna Akami with cucumber gazpacho. Hot starters including Fried Calamari and Zucchini Fritters lead into mains such as Seabass Avgolemono or Beef Souvlaki, before ending with Ilios Ravani, a coconut cake served with kaimak ice cream, crispy phyllo and Greek honey. Running from 1 PM to 4 PM, with packages from AED 250, it’s designed as a lively, social afternoon that carries effortlessly into the evening.
Over at Nalu, Surf Brunch takes on a more playful, family-friendly feel. With coastal dishes, live acoustic music and a menu that moves from Tuna Tostadas and Coconut Prawns to the Nalu Island Platter, it’s an experience that builds naturally through the afternoon in an open, easygoing setting.
Pool & Pupaccinos
Beyond the table, both venues offer more to settle into. At Ilios, the pool has reopened for the season, setting the scene for sun-filled afternoons that transition into golden hour. At Nalu, the space remains open and welcoming - including for pets, inviting guests to bring their pups along, with complimentary puppuccinos adding to the experience.
Together, Nalu and Ilios offer a dynamic way to experience Hudayriyat Island - from weekday escapes to weekend energy, all shaped by flavour, setting and a sense of connection.
