Dubai welcomes a major cultural arrival as Paris Paradis, the Dubai incarnation of the legendary Paradis Latin, officially opens its doors on 16 January 2026 at Taj Dubai, Downtown. Bringing more than two centuries of Parisian cabaret heritage into a contemporary, immersive setting, Paris Paradis introduces a refined cabaret and performance dining destination where live spectacle, gastronomy, and storytelling come together seamlessly.
Founded in 1803 under Napoleon Bonaparte and later rebuilt by Gustave Eiffel in 1889, Paradis Latin is recognised as the oldest cabaret in Paris, celebrated for its role in shaping the city’s artistic and nightlife culture. Paris Paradis carries this legacy forward, translating the spirit of freedom, creativity, and celebration into a modern expression designed for Dubai’s global and sophisticated audience.
Walter Butler, Founder of Butler Industries and Paris Paradis says “I am very proud to bring Paradis Latin, the oldest cabaret in the world, to Dubai. Our show in Paris is attended by more than 150,000 guests every year. Dubai is the global stage where cultures meet, and Paris Paradis is honoured to bring the spirit of Paris to this extraordinary city. Paris Paradis is not simply a show or a restaurant. It is a celebration of creativity, craftsmanship, and shared moments, reimagined for Dubai.”
A Theatre of Movement and Modern Cabaret, choregraphed by Kamel Ouali
At the heart of Paris Paradis is a bold programme choreographed by Kamel Ouali, one of France’s most influential creative directors and choreographers. Renowned for redefining modern cabaret, Ouali brings his signature language of movement to Dubai, blending technical precision with emotion, theatricality, and inclusivity.
Reflecting the brand’s uncompromising commitment to artistic excellence, the casting process involved over 2,500 candidates from around the world, with only a select few chosen to join the Paris Paradis ensemble.
A Refined Culinary Expression by Chef Zouhair Bouhlal
Complementing the spectacle is a sophisticated culinary experience led by Executive Chef Zouhair Bouhlal, acclaimed for his work at Casa Amor and awarded best festive restaurant by La Liste; in 2025. His menu presents a contemporary interpretation of French Mediterranean cuisine, balancing refinement with warmth and generosity.
Each dish reflects a philosophy of craftsmanship, seasonality, and shared enjoyment, aligning seamlessly with the spirit of Paris Paradis. Every plate at Paris Paradis reflects a philosophy of meticulous craftsmanship, seasonality, and the joy of shared dining. This culinary approach aligns seamlessly with the venue’s spirit of celebration and refinement. Among the menu's standout highlights are signature dishes such as the Rossini Wagyu and Truffle Carpaccio.
An Architectural Narrative of Drama and Craftsmanship
Under the artistic direction of Walter Butler, Mary Bjorg has curated an environment of true Parisian luxury. The venue’s design is anchored by five primary mosaics designed by Dimitri Rybaltchenko, famous for his collaborations with the French luxury house Hermès.
The visual centerpiece is a striking, bespoke tiger mosaic by the renowned Italian atelier SICIS. Born from Walter Butler’s creative vision, this piece which required over 1,000 hours of meticulous craftsmanship depicts a flying tiger traveling from Paris to the Burj in Dubai.
A palette of deep red tones layered with gold accents establishes a warm, enveloping atmosphere throughout the venue. Plush velvets, brass detailing, mirrors, marble, and wood are meticulously layered to create intimacy and visual richness.
The venue unfolds across multiple levels, including a private mezzanine, offering guests elevated vantage points over the experience below while reinforcing a sense of exclusivity and discovery.
Lighting plays a defining role in shaping the atmosphere, combining Murano glass elements, crystal, gold-leaf finishes, and softly diffused illumination to create an immersive environment where light, texture, and movement heighten the overall experience.
An Exclusive Champagne Heritage
Further elevating the experience, Paris Paradis is the only venue in Dubai to exclusively serve Laurent-Perrier Héritage Champagne, a cuvée that embodies finesse, balance, and the enduring savoir-faire of the Maison. This exclusive partnership sets Paris Paradis as a destination rooted in French heritage and the art of celebration.
