The festive period follows the completion of the resort’s latest enhancement programme, giving guests the opportunity to experience newly reimagined dining destinations Soluna, Curieuse and Makase, alongside refreshed Reception & Arrivals, Concierge, Retail & Art Gallery spaces.

The renewed areas add another dimension to the guest journey while retaining the privacy and relaxed pace for which the all-villa resort is known. Raffles Seychelles comprises 87 private pool villas positioned across its tropical hillside and beachfront setting on Praslin.

From 19 December 2026 to 9 January 2027, the resort will present a wide-ranging festive programme combining dining, family activities, local culture, entertainment and destination experiences.

Christmas and New Year on Praslin

The programme opens with The First Light of Christmas, bringing guests together for the illumination of the Christmas tree, festive bites, cocktails and music at Takamaka Terrace.

Christmas Eve will begin with a sunset cocktail gathering before continuing with a festive buffet at Losean, accompanied by live music and traditional carols. On Christmas morning, Santa will make a memorable arrival by helicopter before continuing through the resort in a festive red Mini Moke, followed by gifts for younger guests at Losean Garden.

Christmas Day concludes with Noël Blanc, A Raffles Christmas, featuring a refined festive menu with foie gras, white caviar and roasted goose, with an optional wine and Champagne pairing.

New Year’s Eve will centre around The Grand Soirée, combining Champagne, Riviera-inspired Mediterranean cuisine, live entertainment and a countdown celebration at Soluna as the resort welcomes 2027.

The programme continues into January, including an Orthodox Christmas Eve celebration on 6 January with festive cocktails, carols and dinner at Losean, an important addition for guests travelling over the extended festive period.

New dining experiences take centre stage

The newly reimagined restaurants form a key part of the festive programme.

At Makase, guests can experience The Art of Tuna, a whole-tuna presentation led by Chef Zaw, followed by The Omakase Champagne Table, pairing a chef-led tasting menu with vintage and non-vintage Champagne.

Curieuse will host Silk & Spice, a family-style Pan-Asian experience featuring Peking duck, handmade dumplings, steamed whole fish and robatayaki specialities, while Soluna will introduce a more relaxed poolside atmosphere through Latin Lunch to Sundown, with sharing plates, cocktails and music by international DJ Erin Campbell.

Additional culinary experiences include Wines Above the Indian Ocean on the resort helipad, the Magnum Wine Dinner, Indian Ocean Rum Journey, The Pink Hour at Takamaka Beach and a Fireside Beach Dinner featuring seafood and Wagyu beef beside the ocean.

Local culture remains an important part of the programme. Taste of Seychelles, Beach Party will combine Creole cuisine, local seafood, Moutya dancing, live music and fire performances, while guests can also take part in Coco de Mer painting with Seychellois artist Jude Barallon, shell art, guided nature experiences and island-inspired craft activities.

The day-by-day programme also includes coral planting and guided snorkelling, kayaking, nature hikes, beach activities and a Champagne catamaran cruise, giving travel advisors opportunities to build a broader Praslin experience around the festive stay.

Families are supported by an extensive children’s programme including creative workshops, cinema evenings, treasure hunts, karaoke, sandcastle competitions, festive games and Santa’s Christmas Day arrival.
