Perched at the top of Tibidabo, METT Barcelona is a reinvention of the legendary Gran Hotel La Florida, one of the most storied properties on the Barcelona skyline. With a century of history, this heritage gem built by architect Ramón Raventós, has been meticulously reimagined under the METT Hotels & Resorts brand. The grand opening is set for 1 September 2025, marking the 100th anniversary of the original Gran Hotel La Florida. With 70 rooms distributed across 35 deluxe rooms, 14 junior suites and 21 suites, the hotel promises contemporary luxury comfort with a Mediterranean design that integrates fine materials, natural light and unique views of the skyline and the sea. Its six panoramic terraces offer different settings for relaxation or socializing, while its two swimming pools, a heated indoor pool and an outdoor infinity pool, invite guests to enjoy the climate and landscape all year round.

Guests can discover new dining concepts that combine the essence of the Mediterranean with an experiential and local approach: the Mediterranean restaurant, Albarada, focused on seasonal Mediterranean cuisine; La Vermutería 1925, which revives the social spirit of Barcelona's vermouth bars; the Pool Bar with its relaxed atmosphere and exquisite menu; and the Lobby Bar by Lladró, where iconic pieces by the Spanish firm create a sophisticated and artistic setting.

Bringing Switzerland’s world-renowned beauty house Valmont to the city, the Valmont Red Carpet Spa is a sanctuary for wellness seekers, making its debut as one of Barcelona’s most exclusive spa wellbeing experiences. Blending Alpine botanicals with cutting-edge cellular science, Valmont’s treatments offer indulgent rituals that restore vitality and radiance. The wellness offering is completed by a state-of-the-art fitness center and a boutique with selected designer and handcrafted products.
