Dorchester Collection’s The Lana has launched a new Royal Afternoon Tea at The Gallery, offering a contemporary take on the quintessential British ritual, inspired by royal heritage and traditions.
The experience brings the history of afternoon tea to life through storytelling cards and narration throughout the service, exploring its royal connections, historic figures and traditional etiquette.
The menu features finger sandwiches, warm raisin and tea-infused scones, and British-inspired pastries created by world pastry champion Angelo Musa. Highlights include coronation chicken, smoked Scottish salmon with asparagus and dill, a modern cucumber sandwich with yuzu caviar, and sweet creations inspired by classic British favourites including Victoria cake and Bakewell tart.
The Royal Afternoon Tea continues Dorchester Collection’s longstanding connection to the tradition, offering guests at The Lana their own distinctive interpretation in the heart of Dubai.
