From relaxed wave-side dining to refined Mediterranean cuisine with live music, Nalu and Ilios offer two ways to celebrate Valentine’s Day at Surf Abu Dhabi
Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates - 3 February 2026 - This Valentine’s Day, Nalu and Ilios invite couples and friends to celebrate love in their own way, with two distinct dining experiences that offer a relaxed, expressive take on romance by the water.
On 14 February, Nalu offers a Valentine’s celebration designed to feel natural, effortless and relaxed. Overlooking the world’s most advanced man-made wave, guests are invited to enjoy relaxed à la carte dining throughout the day with no set menus or fixed formats - allowing couples to order what they love and celebrate as they please.
To mark the occasion, Nalu introduces a limited-edition Valentine’s dessert and two special drinks available for the day. The dessert, O Kou Aloha (AED 40), is a heart-shaped creation inspired by Hawaii, meaning “Your Love.” Light yet indulgent, it layers mixed berries and lychee parfait with vanilla frangipane sponge and compote, offering a romantic finish without excess.
Complementing the dessert are two unique Valentine’s drinks: Salted Kiss, a refreshing grapefruit mocktail with lime, rosemary and a subtle smoky salt finish and Forbidden Passion, a smooth vodka-based cocktail with strawberry, amaretto and bitters, finished with silky foam.
At Ilios, Valentine’s Day unfolds as a full-day celebration of Mediterranean dining, atmosphere and shared moments. Guests can choose how they wish to experience the day - whether enjoying lunch with pool access, dining into sunset or settling in for a candlelit evening by the water.
On Saturday, 14 February, Ilios presents a specially curated four-course Valentine’s set menu designed for lingering conversations and shared moments. Priced at AED 700 per couple, the experience includes either one bottle of Esprit Gassier Rosé or a non-alcoholic sparkling wine with a food-only option available at AED 500 per couple. All dishes from the Valentine’s menu will also be available à la carte.
The menu moves from refined starters such as the Beetroot & Citrus Medley and the Platter of Love through a creamy Saffron Risotto before mains including Australian Black Angus striploin or Carabineros with homemade tagliolini. Dessert offers a memorable finale with a choice of Valentine’s creations — either The Flower of Love, a rose-shaped dessert, or a heart-shaped chocolate designed to be broken open at the table, revealing delicate chocolate bonbons inside.
Throughout the day, Ilios’ resident DJ sets the tone with a live singer performing at sunset and into the evening.
