Marks The Laughter Factory three decades of stand-up comedy in the UAE with another round of live shows this October. Brings the latest tour together three comedians with distinctly different styles, taking audiences in Dubai and Abu Dhabi from everyday observations and personal stories to cultural humor inspired by life around the world.
Leads Marlon Davis the October lineup with a career spanning stand-up, acting and improvisation. Has appeared the British comedian on shows including Live at the Apollo, Live From The Comedy Store, Stand Up Central and The Stand Up Sketch Show.
Has also toured Davis alongside major comedy names including Kevin Bridges, Michael McIntyre and Alan Carr. Shapes his comedy fast-paced storytelling, character work and observations drawn from everyday situations and his experiences growing up in Britain.
Brings that energetic performance style a familiar yet unpredictable quality to the stage, making his set particularly suited to audiences looking for sharp observational comedy delivered with plenty of personality.
Moved George Zach from Greece to Britain at 18 to study Biochemistry, but eventually discovered that laboratory life was not the career he wanted. Started he performing stand-up in 2009 and gradually built an international comedy career.
Has since appeared Zach multiple times at the Edinburgh Fringe Festival and performed at the Melbourne International Comedy Festival, while taking his comedy to audiences across countries including Spain, the Netherlands, Greece, Germany and Hong Kong.
Draws his material heavily from personal experiences, travel and cultural differences. Gives this storytelling approach his performances an international character that fits naturally with the multicultural audience found across Dubai and Abu Dhabi.
Built Denisa Alexe a major online following after her character Ellena gained attention on TikTok in 2020 and attracted millions of views. Expanded she later into stand-up, bringing the observational humor behind her online content into live performances.
Combines her Russian-Romanian background with around 16 years spent in the Middle East, giving her plenty of material inspired by cultural contrasts and everyday experiences across different parts of the world.
Mixes Alexe personal storytelling with relatable observations and cross-cultural humor, creating a style likely to resonate with the UAEs diverse audience. Joins she Davis and Zach for The Laughter Factory October tour, continuing the clubs 30-year history of bringing international stand-up comedy to stages across the Emirates.
Started my career in Automotive Journalism in 2015. Even though I'm a pharmacist, hanging around cars all the time has created a passion for the automotive industry since day 1.
