Following the success of its debut last year, Animenia Abu Dhabi 2026 is set to transform the capital into a Neo-Tokyo-inspired realm filled with colour, creativity, and culture. This year promises to level up every aspect of the experience, with live performances including J-Pop shows, Anisong performances, and exclusive Meet & Greets. On top of this, fans can step into themed realms with curated exhibits inspired by beloved anime worlds, battle it out in the interactive gaming zone, browse merch and collectibles, and try mouthwatering street food that brings a taste of Tokyo to Abu Dhabi. One of the festival’s biggest highlights returns, with the Animenia Abu Dhabi cosplay competition offering a record-breaking AED 400,000 prize pool. Contestants can enter solo or group categories, with the chance to win special awards such as Best in Craftsmanship, Best in Performance, Animenia’s Spark Award, and many more. 

. To secure a spot at Animenia Abu Dhabi, fans can opt for a one-day weekday pass for AED 95 or a one-day weekend pass for AED 145. Each pass gives guests access to the festival grounds, shopping, exhibitions, gaming, anime worlds, workshops, and food vendors. Alternatively, secure a limited number of five-day passes to ensure you don’t miss a second of the action.
