FREQUENCY 971 returns to Coca-Cola Arena on Saturday, 10 October 2026 for its third edition, bringing international and regional electronic music stars together for a night of high-energy beats. Headlining the lineup are Italian dance music pioneer Benny Benassi and Danish DJ and producer MORTEN, joined by Dubai-based DJ Slim.
Electronic music fans can expect big drops, heavy basslines, spectacular production and three DJs bringing their distinct sounds to the dance floor. From Benassi’s iconic electro-house anthems to MORTEN’s Future Rave sound and DJ Slim’s homegrown electronic beats, FREQUENCY 971 brings it all together under one roof at Dubai’s home of live entertainment.
Having performed in Dubai several times, Benny Benassi said: “I’ve played Dubai many times and the energy here is always special. I’m really looking forward to coming back for FREQUENCY 971 and bringing my signature sound to the dancefloor.”
Few artists have left a mark on electronic music quite like Benny Benassi. In 2002, Benassi and his cousin Alle Benassi released ‘Satisfaction’, whose mechanical groove, distorted bassline and futuristic production helped define the electro-house sound and influence clubs and festival stages around the world.
Over a career spanning more than two decades, Benassi has continued to bridge underground club culture and the global mainstream. His debut album Hypnotica earned a European Border Breaker Award, while subsequent releases including Rock ’N’ Rave and Electroman further established his signature sound. The latter featured ‘Beautiful People’ with Chris Brown and ‘Cinema’ with Gary Go, which was later reimagined by Skrillex in a GRAMMY-winning version.
Beyond his own catalogue, Benassi has collaborated with artists including Madonna, John Legend, Ne-Yo, Kelis, T-Pain and David Guetta, and has performed at major festivals including EDC, Coachella, Tomorrowland and Ultra Music Festival. His 2022 rework of ‘Satisfaction’ with David Guetta introduced the iconic track to a new generation, while his 2025 collaboration with ARTBAT, ‘Love Is Gonna Save Us’, reached No. 1 on 1001Tracklists’ overall chart. His latest album, Feel The Bass, reconnects with the stripped-back, driving energy that first defined his sound while bringing it into a new era.
Joining Benassi is Danish DJ and producer MORTEN, known for his high-impact productions, cinematic sound and bass-heavy drops. A key figure in the future rave movement, MORTEN helped pioneer the future rave sound alongside David Guetta, with their collaborations reaching hundreds of millions of streams worldwide. His catalogue spans collaborations with artists including ARTBAT, RAYE, Aloe Blacc, Clementine Douglas, Trippie Redd, Dave East, BONN and Lanie Gardner, while his festival performances have taken him to stages including Tomorrowland and Ultra Music Festival.
MORTEN added: “I’m excited to be part of FREQUENCY 971 and to bring my Future Rave sound to Dubai. It’s going to be a night of big energy, and I can’t wait to feel the energy from the crowd.”
Completing the lineup is Dubai-based DJ Slim, bringing a homegrown presence to the FREQUENCY 971 stage. A familiar name within the UAE’s DJ scene, DJ Slim is known for energetic sets and his ability to move across electronic sounds, adding a local dimension to the night.
Now in its third edition, FREQUENCY 971 continues to bring international electronic talent to Dubai’s Coca-Cola Arena while creating a platform for the region’s homegrown DJ talent.
Presented by Lovin Dubai, with Full Circle and supported by Dubai Calendar, this is a night no electronic music fan should miss.
