ibis MUSIC, the global live music platform by ibis hotels, is returning to Dubai this September for its third local edition. As part of a worldwide series of over 40 mini concerts across 17 countries, ibis MUSIC continues its mission to shine a spotlight on emerging local talent while turning everyday hotel stays into immersive cultural experiences. This month’s edition will feature two consecutive performances by international artists, free and open to the public
On the 25th of September, South African British singer-pianist and songwriter Lisa Goldin will perform at the ibis World Trade Centre. A fearless artist with a vision to write music that touches people’s hearts, Lisa is a singer-pianist and songwriter with twelve songs broadcast internationally on radio and TV. Born in Johannesburg, she has built a reputation and won hearts with fans across the UK, South Africa, and the UAE. Lisa has performed and toured in cities such as London, Ibiza, Dubai, and various locations in Asia, sharing stages with renowned artists and bands like Ed Sheeran, Jessie J, Scouting for Girls, Barbara Tucker, and others. Recently, she released her new songs, "How Love Can Start" from her new album and "Something I Used to Wear," and will perform them live at the Ibis World Trade Centre. Meanwhile, on September 26th, Ingrid Naccour, a Lebanese singer, will perform her original song at ibis One Central for the first time in public since its release a while ago. A certified Vocal Style Specialist from Berklee College of Music in Boston and someone who studied Opera at the Lebanese National Higher Conservatory of Music, Ingrid has appeared on many TV shows, such as MTV Lebanon's Celebrity Duets, Heik Menghanni, Baadna Maa Rabia, and a programme on Alghad TV. She has also performed in operas like Elisire D’amour at UNESCO (The United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organisation) and taken part in numerous festivals, including Beirut Festival, Jazz Festival, Dbayeh and Badaro Festivals, and the first 3D mapping concert in Beirut, ‘Beirut Sea Lover’. Moreover, Ingrid has sung in the soundtracks of films such as the Cannes-nominated short film ‘Green is Red’ – USA, Netflix movie Khabsa-Lebanon, and in several advertisements for The Mall of the Emirates and Sadia in KSA. Notably, she recently performed at the opening of Her Highness Sheikha Khawla Bint Ahmed Khalifa Al Suwaidi’s solo exhibition in D3, Dubai and for prestigious brands like Cartier and Montblanc. Launched initially as a global program to support rising musicians, ibis MUSIC has hosted artists across five continents, from Paris rooftops to São Paulo bars. In Dubai, it continues to grow into a platform that bridges hotel hospitality with real cultural value, creating shared experiences through the universal language of music.
