Arada has announced a diverse programme of New Year’s Eve celebrations across its Sharjah communities, with visitors now able to stay directly at Aljada’s latest attraction, the newly opened Nest Hotel.
Starting at 7pm, New Year’s Eve activations will take place across Aljada, Masaar and Nasma Residences, welcoming both residents and visitors. Each destination offers a unique atmosphere and energy, with the countdown to midnight marked by a celebration of music, lights and community spirit. At Aljada, festivities will be centred around the Madar family entertainment district, featuring a vibrant family-friendly line-up with the New Year countdown featuring a dazzling drone show followed by a fireworks display. Celebrations will also include DJ performances, roaming parades and mascots, a music band, gaming zones, arts and crafts for children, face painting, and a photo booth. At Masaar, the celebrations wil feature a drone-formed fireworks frame as its headline spectacle. Visitors can enjoy a full evening of family-friendly entertainment including DJ sets, live music, roaming parades and mascots, a gaming zone, arts and crafts, face painting, and a photo booth, offering a lively atmosphere set within a natural backdrop. Nasma Residences will present a vibrant neighbourhood celebration tailored for families and residents of all ages. The program will be held at Nasma Central Park, in front of Nasma Central, which will include dynamic entertainment such as live music, interactive games, and engaging family activities, fostering a welcoming and festive environment at the heart of this well-established community. For the first time, guests can also choose to stay at Nest Hotel, Arada’s recently announced smart, connected hotel located in the heart of Aljada, offering travellers a contemporary new base from which to experience Sharjah. The 395-room property is offering dedicated packages for families and couples for New Year’s Eve, allowing guests to stay within walking distance of Aljada’s drone show and fireworks. Packages start from just AED446 per night, including breakfast and dinner, for couples and from AED733 for families. Amit Arora, Chief Operating Officer – Hospitality & Entertainment at Arada, said: “This year’s New Year’s Eve programmes across our communities are designed to bring people together through fun, accessible celebrations and family-friendly entertainment, as well as the introduction of Nest Hotel at Aljada, providing visitors with a convenient, well-connected base within walking distance of the celebrations. Together, these touchpoints create a seamless and engaging way for residents and visitors alike to welcome the New Year in a relaxed and memorable setting.” All activities are free of charge and open to residents of each community as well as families from surrounding neighbourhoods. Arada’s community management will work closely with Sharjah Police to manage traffic and ensure that public parking areas are available across all locations.
