This November, The SAMĀ Festival — A Lighthouse for Music, Art, and Culture invites families, friends, and community to a 24-hour celebration of music, wellness, and connection in the heart of the dunes. You can enjoy live concerts, curated workshops, an artisan marketplace and F&B, and glamping under the stars. Designed for all ages and alcohol-free, SAMĀ creates transformative experiences that serve as bridges between ancient legacies and modern expressions. As part of this vision, SAMĀ intentionally weaves contemporary world musicians and visionary artists into the tapestry of the gathering — creators who are crafting radical, genre-defying sounds.
We are honoring the cultural heritages of the five continents— blending timeless traditions with innovative artistry. Our mission is rooted in the belief that the wisdom of the past holds the power to guide us toward a more connected, creative, and conscious future. These collaborations are about co-creating new experiences that are contextually relevant, and rooted in both ancestral memory and future possibility.
Enjoy live performances by international artists spanning a rich spectrum of sound and culture, from Ape Chimba’s music and Afrosideral’s Afro-Cuban rhythms to AWO’s Live Hybrid DJ Set. The program also features a collaborative performance with Ape Chimba and Radhe Jaggi, an acclaimed Bharatanatyam dancer celebrated for her expressive storytelling and graceful movement, carrying forward the timeless artistry of Rukmini Devi Arundale.
Choose from 15+ interactive workshops spanning from Wisdom Talks, Orishas Dance Workshops, Bharatanatyam Dance Workshop, Primal Moves and Alchemy of Breath from Ibiza, Ecstatic Dance, Tea Ceremonies, Local Bands, Sound Journeys, Family Constellations, and Drum Circles, designed to bring people of all ages together in movement, creativity, and connection.
At the heart of SAMĀ is a space for families to connect and play. The Tiny Tribes Tent is a dedicated area where kids can explore, create, and rest safely while parents immerse themselves in the festival flow. With Workshops like Craft Making, Handpan classes for kids, and Design Your Life Workshop (Open to Ages 10-18) led by Natalie Chan MBA, founder of OWN Academy, re-creating the next education system— championing purpose finding. Open throughout the main festival hours, it’s a haven for young adventurers and a reminder that connection begins early.
Explore the Marketplace, a colorful gathering of artisan vendors offering handcrafted treasures, wellness elixirs, and nourishing bites from brands like Zhenabia, We Are Life Within, New Mind Chaga, Motion Trading, Holy Smokes, Pizza Craft, Comptoir 102, BSMNT, Las Paletas, Bayrut Express, Social Brewers, and more.
Festival-goers can camp overnight in the dedicated camping area (bring your own tent or opt for glamping) or stay at nearby hotels. Facilities include bathrooms, firepits, and easy access parking, with 4×4 rides from the lot directly into the venue. Shuttle services will run from multiple Dubai locations for convenient travel.
Your Ticket includes all concerts, workshops, and overnight stay, giving you full access to the rhythm, creativity, and serenity of the desert.
Family-friendly. Grounded in nature. Powered by community. Open to all.
Whether you come for the music, the community, or the calm of the desert, SAMĀ promises an unforgettable experience of connection, creativity, and celebration under the stars.
