The yacht "Dilbar" epitomizes luxury and craftsmanship in nautical design. With a length of 157 meters and an exceptional aesthetic, Dilbar stands as one of the largest and most magnificent yachts globally. This luxurious vessel has garnered global attention for its grandeur and premium features, making it a symbol of ultimate luxury.
Delivered in 2016, Dilbar is among the most expensive yachts worldwide, with an original cost estimated at around $800 million. Weighing 15,917 tons, the yacht also incurs an annual maintenance cost of approximately $60 million. Owned by Russian billionaire Alisher Usmanov, a prominent figure in the mining, telecommunications, and publishing industries, Dilbar often docks in the port of Antibes, France, where its substantial size necessitated infrastructure upgrades. The yacht has also been in the news following reports of its detention by German authorities amid Russian sanctions.
Dilbar is manned by a skilled crew of 80 members to ensure smooth operation and maintenance. For special occasions, the crew size can expand to accommodate up to 96, allowing the yacht to host as many as 120 guests and crew members. Among its premium amenities is the largest swimming pool built on a yacht, spanning 25 meters and holding up to 180 cubic meters of water, providing an unparalleled swimming experience. Additionally, the yacht features a unique garden with sea-resistant plants, curated by German architect Axel Malsmann to enhance Mediterranean voyages.
Dilbar is equipped with two helicopter pads, enhancing accessibility to land and sea. Helicopters can take off and land either at the bow helipad or the second pad on the upper deck. Remarkably, the construction and delivery of this grand yacht took only 52 months, a testament to the advanced capabilities in luxury yacht manufacturing.
