From January 30 to February 8, Diriyah is set to host its first-ever Storytelling Festival, offering a unique cultural experience for literature enthusiasts. The event will take place across iconic locations, including Bujairi Terrace, Bab Samhan Hotel, and Al-Dhawihra Farm, creating an immersive atmosphere filled with inspiring stories and engaging narratives.
The festival presents a dynamic lineup featuring storytelling nights, interactive workshops, and discussions with over 150 renowned authors and performers. Visitors can explore book fairs, relax in dedicated reading zones, and attend book signings, making the experience both educational and entertaining.
Beyond traditional storytelling, the festival integrates music, cinematic interpretations, and live adaptations of literary works. Attendees can witness theatrical performances and visual storytelling, adding a new dimension to the literary experience.
The "Little Storyteller" zone is dedicated to young book lovers, offering workshops in puppetry, creative writing, and interactive storytelling. This initiative aims to inspire creativity in children and encourage a love for reading and storytelling.
An exclusive Writers’ Retreat provides Saudi authors with a peaceful environment to refine their craft under the guidance of international literary experts. Through masterclasses and mentorship sessions, this retreat fosters creativity and professional growth.
The Diriyah Storytelling Festival is a celebration of literature, creativity, and cultural heritage. Whether you are a casual reader, an aspiring writer, or a dedicated literary enthusiast, this festival promises a captivating experience filled with unforgettable stories and artistic expression.
