Abu Dhabi is preparing to welcome luxury collectors and art enthusiasts as Sotheby's returns for the second edition of Collectors' Week in December 2026. Bringing together rare Ferrari sports cars, exceptional Cartier watches, fine jewellery and internationally acclaimed artworks, the event promises a distinctive celebration of craftsmanship, culture and luxury collecting on Saadiyat Island.
Following its inaugural edition in December 2025, Sotheby's Abu Dhabi Collectors' Week returns with an expanded programme featuring six specialised auctions across fine art and luxury collectibles.
Hosted at the Saadiyat Grove Experience Centre, near cultural landmarks including Louvre Abu Dhabi and Zayed National Museum, the event places collectors at the heart of the capital's growing cultural scene.
Public exhibitions begin on December 4, 2026, offering visitors the opportunity to explore extraordinary pieces alongside expert discussions and workshops.
Luxury auctions take place on December 9, followed by New Horizons, Sotheby's first international fine art auction in Abu Dhabi, on December 10.
Discover an impressive selection of collectible Ferrari models, including the 2009 Ferrari Scuderia Spider 16M and the 2004 Ferrari 360 Challenge Stradale, originally produced for the Swiss market.
Other highlights include a 2006 Ferrari 612 Scaglietti F1 HGTC finished in rare Grigio Violetto and a 2010 Ferrari 599 GTB Fiorano in distinctive Ivory Cream.
Watch enthusiasts can explore approximately 50 rare Cartier timepieces from the Cartier Spectrum collection, including a remarkable Twin Strap watch dating from 1970–1971.
The luxury selection extends to exceptional jewellery, featuring a brownish-orange diamond weighing more than 40 carats, alongside gemstone necklaces, designer handbags and high-performance bicycles.
Together, these pieces showcase the craftsmanship, rarity and individuality that define luxury collecting.
Bringing together internationally celebrated artists and influential regional names, New Horizons marks a major milestone for Sotheby's presence in Abu Dhabi.
The auction features works by Andy Warhol, including pieces from his 1985 Ads series, alongside creations by French Impressionist Claude Monet.
Emirati contemporary art also takes the spotlight through works by Mohammed Ahmed Ibrahim and Hassan Sharif, two influential figures in the UAE's artistic development.
Another notable highlight is a drawing by Christo connected to The Abu Dhabi Mastaba, an ambitious art project envisioned for the Liwa Desert.
The selection also includes works by Najat Makki, Etel Adnan and Inji Efflatoun, while artists Nujoom Alghanem and Nasser Al Yousif make their Sotheby's auction debuts.
By combining international masterpieces with regional artistic heritage, Collectors' Week offers more than an opportunity to acquire rare objects. It reinforces Abu Dhabi's growing appeal as a destination where luxury, culture and contemporary collecting meet.
