With Qatar hosting the opening round of the 2027 FIA World Endurance Championship in March, the newly announced driver line-up is set to begin its campaign in the Middle East. The season will also conclude in the region at the 8 Hours of Bahrain in November, building on Cadillac’s previous appearances with the V-Series.R Hypercar in Bahrain in 2023 and at the inaugural Qatar 1812km in 2024.

Returning to JOTA, Antonio Felix da Costa needs little introduction. He previously raced for the team during one of the most successful periods in its history and is a race winner in both prototype and GT competition. The Portuguese star is one of endurance racing's most accomplished competitors, with an FIA World Endurance Championship title and a class victory at the 24 Hours of Le Mans among his achievements.

Cadillac Racing driver Ricky Taylor is also familiar with Cadillac Hertz Team JOTA, having raced for the team at Circuit of the Americas earlier this year, while Alex Lynn recovered from surgery. An IMSA veteran, Taylor has built an impressive resume in the pinnacle of American sports car racing, with 32 victories and 76 podium finishes.

Sam Hignett, Director and Co-Founder, Cadillac Hertz Team JOTA: “We are incredibly excited about our driver line-up for 2027. In Antonio and Ricky, we are welcoming two enormously talented drivers who already know the team well and understand what we are about. Both bring a huge amount of experience, but just as importantly, they are great team players and will fit seamlessly into the group we already have. Alongside Jack, Earl, Norman and Will, we believe we have a formidable line-up for 2027, with the experience, speed and team spirit to achieve great things together.”

Eric Warren, Vice President, Global Motorsports Competition: “We are delighted to welcome Antonio and Ricky to Cadillac for 2027. Both drivers bring experience, race-winning pedigree and technical expertise to the team. In a series where teamwork and chemistry are vital, Ricky and Antonio already have a long-standing relationship with everyone at Cadillac. Together with Jack, Earl, Norman and Will, this provides a strong foundation for the season.”

Antonio Felix Da Costa: “It feels really special to be coming back to JOTA. I have some amazing memories with this team, we achieved a lot together and I still have so many friends here, so in many ways it feels like coming home. At the same time, this is a completely new challenge and one that I’m incredibly excited about. The team has shown what it is capable of at the very highest level and I’m coming back with one goal – to help Cadillac Hertz Team JOTA fight for wins and championships.”

Ricky Taylor: “I’m incredibly honoured to be joining Cadillac Hertz Team JOTA for the 2027 season. Racing full-time in a FIA World Championship is something I’ve never had the opportunity to do before, so I’m excited for the prospect and to be joining a team that has spent so many years achieving podiums and wins on the world stage. I already know many of the team and drivers from my time in IMSA, and I also had the opportunity to race with Cadillac Hertz Team JOTA in Austin this year, so I already feel right at home. I can’t wait to get started!"

Current Cadillac Hertz Team JOTA drivers, Alex Lynn and Sébastien Bourdais, will depart the team at the end of the current campaign.

Bourdais has been an integral part of the Cadillac Hertz Team JOTA programme since its inception, bringing a wealth of experience, technical expertise and leadership to the team. A multiple-time champion and one of endurance racing's most respected competitors, Seb has delivered multiple podium finishes during his two seasons with the team.

Lynn joined JOTA ahead of the team's first season as Cadillac Hertz Team JOTA, bringing extensive experience of the Cadillac V-Series.R in WEC. During his time with the team, he delivered several standout performances, including securing pole at Le Mans, and was part of Cadillac's first FIA World Endurance Championship victory at São Paulo.

David Clark, Director and Co-Founder, Cadillac Hertz Team JOTA: “I would like to thank Alex and Seb for their outstanding commitment and contribution to the team, both on and off the track. The pair have played an important role in the team's journey with Cadillac, helping establish the programme at the front of the FIA World Endurance Championship and contributing to some of its most memorable performances.”

Eric Warren, Vice President, Global Motorsports Competition: “Sébastien and Alex have made important contributions to Cadillac Racing and to the growth of this program over their many years with the team. While this particular chapter may be coming to a close, their contribution and commitment will always be valued, and they will remain respected and important members of the Cadillac family.”

Sébastien Bourdais: “I’m very proud of what we have achieved together over the last two seasons. Joining JOTA with Cadillac was a new challenge for all of us and it has been very rewarding to see how the programme has progressed and to have contributed to some strong results along the way. I’ve really enjoyed working with everyone at JOTA and continuing my relationship with Cadillac, and I have a lot of respect for the people involved in this programme. We still have two races to go this season, so my focus now is on doing the best job we can together and finishing on a high.”

Alex Lynn: “I’ve had an amazing time with JOTA over the past two years and with Cadillac Racing over the last five years. So many beautiful memories that I will cherish forever.  I’ve had the honour of driving the car to four WEC pole positions, including the most special one at Le Mans, being one of the driving crew that took the first overall podium at Le Mans, the first overall WEC win and two overall Sebring 12 hour wins. Thank you to every person involved from both GM and from the teams I was fortunate enough to drive for, I hope I did you proud. I always gave everything I had, and will continue to do so for the last two races.”
