Ferrari Luce Gets Its First Aggressive Makeover From Vossen

03 Oct 2026
  • Why has the Ferrari Luce design caused so much debate?
  • What wheels did Vossen choose for the Ferrari Luce?
  • Does the rear wing improve the Ferrari Luce design?

Ferrari has barely introduced the Luce and the aftermarket world is already imagining how the first fully electric Ferrari could look with a more aggressive personality.

Vossen Wheels has revealed one of the first visual reinterpretations of the Ferrari Luce, using new wheels, a dramatically lower stance and additional aerodynamic details to give the electric model a stronger road presence. The project remains a digital design exercise for now, rather than a completed customer car, but it already shows how dramatically a few carefully selected changes can transform the Luce.

Ferrari Luce Has Already Divided Opinion

Ferrari Luce Has Already Divided Opinion

The Ferrari Luce represents a major change for Maranello, not only because it uses a fully electric powertrain but also because its exterior takes a different approach from the dramatic shapes normally associated with Ferrari.

Smooth surfaces and softer proportions give the Luce a cleaner and more futuristic character. That direction has attracted plenty of attention, but it has also divided enthusiasts who expected Ferrari first electric model to carry a more aggressive visual identity.

That debate creates the perfect opportunity for companies such as Vossen to demonstrate how aftermarket modifications could give the Luce a completely different personality.

Massive Vossen Wheels Transform Its Stance

The biggest visual change comes from the Vossen G2 13T wheels.

Their large concave design fills the wheel arches much more aggressively and gives the Luce stronger proportions from almost every angle. The silver finish also creates a dramatic contrast against the smooth bodywork.

Vossen designed the project around these wheels, making them the central element of the transformation rather than completely redesigning the Ferrari body.

Ride height makes an enormous difference to the way a performance car looks, and Vossen pushes the Luce much closer to the ground.

Reducing the space between the tires and wheel arches makes the body appear wider and gives the car a more planted stance.

Combined with the larger wheels, the lower suspension visually transforms the Luce from a smooth electric grand tourer into something that looks much more focused and aggressive.

The extremely low setup shown in the renderings is clearly focused on appearance, but it demonstrates how much potential exists within the original proportions of the car.

The Rear Wing Divides Opinion

The Rear Wing Divides Opinion

The most controversial part of the Vossen interpretation may be the fixed rear wing.

While the wheels and lower ride height complement the broad proportions of the Luce, the wing creates a much more obvious performance car appearance.

Some enthusiasts may appreciate the extra aggression, while others may prefer the cleaner rear design of the original car without such a prominent aerodynamic element.

The project ultimately proves that Ferrari Luce can adopt a much more dramatic character without requiring a completely redesigned body. Larger wheels and a lower stance alone significantly change its personality.

As Ferrari begins a new electric chapter, Vossen has offered an early look at what the tuning world may have planned for the Luce. The first electric Ferrari is already controversial in standard form, and the arrival of aftermarket interpretations could make its design story even more interesting.
