Continuing its tradition of outrageous supercars, Lamborghini has revealed the new Fenomeno Roadster as the most powerful convertible in the brand’s history. Based on the Revuelto platform, this ultra rare machine combines a naturally aspirated V12 engine with hybrid technology while removing the roof completely. Limited to only 15 units worldwide, the Fenomeno Roadster delivers dramatic styling, massive performance, and the kind of exclusivity that collectors dream about.
Building the Fenomeno Roadster required far more than simply removing the roof from the coupe. Lamborghini redesigned several aerodynamic elements to maintain performance and stability at extremely high speeds. A new windscreen with an integrated carbon spoiler helps direct airflow over the cabin, while a massive rear diffuser and active rear spoiler complete the aggressive aero package.
Paying tribute to the legendary 1968 Miura Roadster, the car features a blue exterior theme with red accents inspired by the Italian city of Bologna. Lamborghini also carefully integrated the anti roll bars beneath carbon fiber structures behind the seats to preserve the sharp and dramatic body lines.
Adding even more visual impact, the Roadster rides on 21 inch front wheels and 22 inch rear wheels wrapped in custom Bridgestone Potenza tires developed specifically for this model.
Delivering a combined 1065 horsepower, the Fenomeno Roadster uses the same plug in hybrid setup found in the coupe. A naturally aspirated 6.5 liter V12 engine works alongside three electric motors to create astonishing acceleration and performance figures.
The Roadster reaches 100 kmh in just 2.4 seconds and pushes beyond 340 kmh at top speed. Lamborghini also fitted manually adjustable race inspired shock absorbers that allow drivers to alter the car’s ride height depending on driving conditions.
Despite carrying hybrid technology and a battery pack, the Fenomeno Roadster remains surprisingly lightweight for a V12 supercar. Lamborghini continues using electrification mainly to improve performance while helping preserve the future of the iconic V12 engine under stricter global regulations.
The Fenomeno Roadster represents Lamborghini’s ongoing commitment to building dramatic limited production halo cars. Following models such as the Reventon, Veneno, Centenario, and Sian, this new Roadster continues the company’s few off tradition with extreme rarity and unmistakable styling.
Although Lamborghini has not announced official pricing, expectations suggest it will cost significantly more than the standard Revuelto. With only 15 examples planned, the Fenomeno Roadster is likely to become one of the most sought after modern Lamborghinis almost instantly.
At the same time, the car proves Lamborghini continues balancing electrification with the emotional character that defines the brand, keeping the V12 spirit alive while entering a new era of performance.
