Lexus ES and Revamped Lexus Center Mark a New Dawn in Saudi Arabia

The unveiling of the new ES and the revamped Lexus Center marks a new dawn for Lexus in Saudi Arabia, shaped by the brand’s longstanding commitment to bold, uncompromising design, exceptional craftsmanship and exhilarating performance, while reimagining how luxury is experienced and brought to life.

The eighth-generation ES builds on a legacy of exceptional quietness, ride comfort and premium quality dating back to 1989, while introducing a new approach to electrified luxury. Developed around the concept of “Experience Elegant and Electrified Sedan,” the new ES combines refined sedan dimensions with advanced technology, greater interior space and a driving experience designed around a sense of ease for everyone on board.

Lexus has developed the ES around how the vehicle feels across every stage of a journey. This philosophy is reflected in the development theme of a “pleasant time for all seats,” with comfort extending beyond the reduction of movement and noise to create an environment where guests can enjoy every moment.

This focus on a seamless experience also extends to technology, which has been designed around simplicity. A new 14-inch Display Audio system provides an intuitive interface, while the ES introduces Lexus’ Responsive Hidden Switches, integrating physical controls discreetly into the steering wheel and instrument panel. Lexus Safety System+ 4 also brings enhanced safety and driver-assistance technologies, while a new 3D View for the Panoramic View Monitor provides drivers with a more comprehensive view of their surroundings.

Lexus International Chief Engineer Kohei Chiashi said:

“During the development of this vehicle, teams from planning, design, engineering, and evaluation came together at Toyota Technical Center Shimoyama, where the vehicle was repeatedly tested, refined, and rebuilt through countless iterations. Despite the many challenges we encountered along the way, everyone involved remained united by a common passion to deliver an exceptional product to our customers.

The development of an automobile is a continual process of harmonizing engineering excellence and sensibility, with each elevating the other. The all-new ES, the culmination of this philosophy, also symbolizes the beginning of the next generation of Lexus. We invite everyone to experience the enriching journey offered by this vehicle, thoughtfully designed to bring a sense of harmony and well-being to all on board.”

The new ES was unveiled within the revamped Lexus Center, where automotive design meets art, architecture and elevated hospitality. The destination brings together curated art spaces, an immersive art room, an archive museum, Hanami Lounge, sushi bar and an exclusive collection of Lexus vehicles, extending the automotive experience beyond the traditional showroom.

This approach builds on Lexus’ history of redefining how luxury automotive environments are experienced. Since the 1990s, the brand has introduced hospitality-led elements into its showroom environments, including a spa, gym, pool and sushi bar. More than 35 years after entering the Kingdom, the revamped Lexus Center continues that evolution, creating a destination that brings together vehicles, culture, creativity and community.

Mazin Jameel, Head of Distributor Operations at Abdul Latif Jameel Motors, said:

“For Lexus, delivering extraordinary experiences goes hand in hand with bold design and meticulous craftsmanship, embodying a vision of luxury that extends far beyond the vehicle. Guided by this commitment, Abdul Latif Jameel Motors continues to redefine the complete guest experience. The new ES represents this evolution and, together with our revamped Lexus Center in Jeddah, marks a new dawn for Lexus in the market. After more than 35 years in the Kingdom, we have created an iconic destination where automotive design meets art, architecture, hospitality and culture, while creating a space for the wider creative community. Our continued support for the Kingdom’s cultural landscape is part of that journey, bringing these different dimensions of the Lexus experience together in Jeddah.”

The Lexus Center also reflects the brand’s longstanding role as a patron of the arts, featuring the first gallery within a Lexus showroom in the Kingdom, with artworks from Japan presented alongside spaces designed for cultural and artistic discovery. Its engagement with leading cultural institutions and platforms, forms part of a broader commitment to supporting Saudi Arabia’s creative landscape and the wider art community.

The Hanami Lounge, first opened in Riyadh, the archive museum and immersive art environment further connect Lexus’ heritage with its evolving vision for the future. Together, these experiences create a space where automotive design, art, architecture, hospitality and the wider creative community converge.

The relationship between Abdul Latif Jameel Motors and Lexus began in 1989, when the brand was first introduced to the Kingdom. More than three decades later, the arrival of the new ES and the revamped Lexus Center mark a new dawn for Lexus in Saudi Arabia, bringing together product innovation, craftsmanship, hospitality, art and culture in a renewed expression of luxury.
