Audi has officially revealed the third generation Q7, giving its flagship family SUV a complete update inside and out. The latest model introduces a more confident design, improved driving dynamics, a wider selection of powertrains, and a cabin that focuses on comfort and flexibility. While the new Q7 will launch in Germany first, it is expected to become an attractive choice for luxury SUV buyers across the UAE thanks to its premium features, spacious interior, and renowned quattro all wheel drive system.
Audi will offer the new Q7 with several powertrain choices depending on the market. Buyers looking for strong gasoline performance can choose a 2.9 liter turbocharged V6 producing 429 horsepower, while the high performance SQ7 raises the bar with a 4.0 liter twin turbo V8 delivering 591 horsepower and 800 Nm of torque. Both engines provide impressive acceleration while maintaining the refinement expected from a luxury SUV.
Diesel buyers will also benefit from updated 3.0 liter V6 TDI engines with mild hybrid technology, available in 242 horsepower and 295 horsepower versions. Every model comes paired with an eight speed Tiptronic automatic transmission and Audi's quattro all wheel drive system. Audi has also introduced a new limited slip center differential that improves traction, steering precision, and stability during spirited driving. Suspension choices include standard steel springs, adaptive air suspension, and adaptive air suspension sport, while all wheel steering further enhances maneuverability in the city and confidence on the highway.
Audi has transformed the Q7 cabin with a cleaner design, premium materials, and one of the most advanced technology packages in its class. Buyers can configure the SUV with five, six, or seven seats, making it suitable for couples, growing families, or those who regularly travel with more passengers. The six seat configuration makes its debut with individual second row seats, while the seven seat version continues to offer generous passenger space and practical cargo capacity.
Technology plays a major role inside the new Q7. The cabin features Audi's curved MMI panoramic display, a standard passenger display, and an available head up display that keeps important information within the driver's view. Additional highlights include wireless charging for two smartphones, USB C fast charging, the Audi Application Store, an intelligent voice assistant with ChatGPT integration, and an available Bang and Olufsen 4D sound system featuring 22 speakers. The panoramic glass roof can switch between transparent and opaque across multiple sections, adding both privacy and a brighter cabin atmosphere. Audi also equips the Q7 with an extensive range of driver assistance systems including automatic emergency braking, blind spot monitoring, adaptive driving assistance, trailer assist, and a smart parking system that can memorize repeated parking maneuvers, making everyday driving safer and more convenient.
