The 2026 Paris Motor Show has become a major stage for Stellantis, with Opel, Jeep, Lancia and DS Automobiles showcasing an exciting mix of electric performance, innovative design and ambitious plans for the future.
From the rally inspired Opel Mokka GSE to the return of the Jeep Renegade, the luxurious new Lancia Gamma and the futuristic DS F3VER concept, Stellantis is demonstrating how its brands can offer very different driving experiences while embracing electrification and advanced technology.
Here are the biggest highlights from the four brands and what they reveal about the future of the European automotive market.
Opel arrived in Paris with three SUVs designed to meet different driving needs, combining sporty performance with everyday practicality.
The biggest performance highlight is the Opel Mokka GSE, an electric SUV inspired by the Mokka GSE Rally. Its electric motor produces 281 hp and 345 Nm of torque, allowing it to accelerate from 0 to 100 km/h in just 5.9 seconds before reaching a top speed of 200 km/h.
To improve handling, Opel equipped the Mokka GSE with a Torsen limited slip differential and specially developed hydraulic shock absorbers, bringing technology inspired by motorsport to public roads.
The Grandland Electric AWD offers a different approach, combining family comfort with 325 hp and 509 Nm of torque. Its 73 kWh battery delivers a driving range of up to 502 km according to the WLTP cycle, while Frequency Selective Damping technology helps improve ride comfort and stability.
For larger families, the Opel Frontera offers seating for up to seven passengers and cargo capacity reaching 1,600 liters. The Extended Range electric version features a 54 kWh battery and can travel up to 400 km on a charge.
One of the biggest announcements from Jeep at the Paris Motor Show was the confirmed return of the Renegade, with an entirely new generation expected to arrive by 2030.
The compact SUV has been an important model for Jeep in Europe, with more than 610,000 units sold since its original introduction in 2014.
According to Xavier Peugeot, Head of Jeep Europe, the brand plans to expand its European lineup to as many as six models by 2030, covering approximately 90 percent of the regional SUV market.
The strategy builds on the success of the Jeep Avenger, which has recorded nearly 300,000 sales, alongside the Compass and the upcoming all electric Recon.
Jeep also plans to introduce another SUV in 2028, strengthening its presence in the larger SUV segment.
Importantly, Jeep intends to maintain its adventurous identity by offering a four wheel drive version of every model, whether through conventional mechanical systems or electrified powertrains.
Lancia used the Paris Motor Show to highlight its revival with the new Gamma, a premium crossover fastback that blends Italian styling, advanced technology and impressive electric performance.
Built at the Stellantis factory in Melfi, Italy, the Gamma measures 4.67 meters in length and features a 2.79 meter wheelbase. Its aerodynamic body achieves a drag coefficient of 0.25 Cd, while the luggage compartment offers 560 liters of storage capacity.
The new Gamma will be available with several powertrain options, beginning with a 145 hp hybrid capable of delivering a combined driving range exceeding 1,000 km.
The electric lineup includes a 230 hp version with a range of approximately 540 km and a 245 hp Long Range variant capable of traveling more than 740 km.
At the top of the lineup sits the Gamma HF Integrale, equipped with two electric motors producing a combined 375 hp and an all wheel drive system. This performance version offers a claimed driving range of up to 675 km.
Lancia is also reconnecting with its motorsport heritage through the Ypsilon Rally2 HF Integrale, developed for competition in the WRC2 rally category.
Together, these developments reflect the brand's ambition to combine Italian elegance with the performance heritage that made Lancia famous.
DS Automobiles took a more futuristic approach in Paris with the introduction of the F3VER concept, a compact electric vehicle exploring new possibilities for design, personalization and efficiency.
Measuring 4.19 meters in length with a 2.70 meter wheelbase, the F3VER combines compact exterior dimensions with a spacious interior and a 400 liter luggage compartment.
Its appearance is particularly striking thanks to the Cosmic Blue exterior finish, which changes between blue and violet depending on how light hits the body.
The concept also features a customizable roof surround, distinctive vertical lighting elements and an unusual rear lighting arrangement incorporating 16 LED panels supported by a lightweight magnesium structure inspired by the Grand Palais in Paris.
Beyond its appearance, the F3VER introduces a design philosophy called Design Intelligence.
This approach focuses on reducing unnecessary components, improving aerodynamics and simplifying vehicle construction without sacrificing premium quality.
Features such as integrated lighting units, single piece bumpers and reduced exterior trim demonstrate how DS aims to create more sophisticated vehicles through smarter engineering rather than additional complexity.
The 2026 Paris Motor Show highlights how Stellantis is allowing its brands to pursue distinctive identities while developing a broader range of electrified vehicles.
Opel is combining accessible electric mobility with impressive performance, Jeep is reinforcing its adventurous SUV heritage, Lancia is returning to its Italian luxury roots, and DS is experimenting with new approaches to premium automotive design.
Whether you are interested in the exciting performance of the Mokka GSE, the return of the Renegade, the powerful Gamma HF Integrale or the futuristic DS F3VER, these announcements offer an intriguing look at what European drivers can expect over the coming years.
