Jaguar TCS Racing have claimed their second ABB FIA Formula E Teams’ World Championship in three seasons after a dramatic finale in London.
The Jaguar TCS Racing duo of Mitch Evans and António Félix da Costa secured a combined four wins, ten further podiums and 288 points over the course of the campaign, heading nearest challengers Porsche by 17 points to claim the team’s second Teams’ World Title in the GEN3 era.
The British team have become not only the most successful outfit of the 2025/26 season, but also the strongest team of the GEN3 era, securing two of the four Teams' World Championships, and more wins and podiums than any other team. Together with Envision Racing, Jaguar’s customer team, Jaguar-powered teams have taken three of the four Teams’ World Championships in the GEN3 era.
Mitch Evans, in his final race for Jaguar after a decade of success with the team, took an excellent fourth-place finish. The Jaguar TCS Racing #9 driver unfortunately missed out on the Drivers’ Championship by nine points to Porsche’s Pascal Wehrlein, finishing third overall on 160 points. Nevertheless, Mitch departs the British team as the most successful driver in Jaguar’s history and, with 16 wins, also the most successful driver in Formula E to date.
Team-mate Antonio Felix da Costa was classified P15 at the chequered flag, but drove a strong race throughout after battling for a podium place in the opening stages before dropping down the order towards the end of the race. The Jaguar TCS Racing #13 driver can look back fondly on a strong debut season for the team, with the Portuguese finishing sixth overall in the Drivers’ standings with 128 points.
The Jaguar I-TYPE 7 – Jaguar’s most advanced and efficient Jaguar electric race car ever – is the most successful in its ten years competing in Formula E, with ten wins and 17 podiums.
Technology proven on-track by Jaguar TCS Racing has directly enhanced development of the Jaguar Type 01, the new luxury four-door GT that will be revealed later this year.
Ian James, Jaguar TCS Racing Team Principal, said: “That race represented everything that is great about this team - now a double World-Championship winning team.
“Mitch, Antonio and the whole team gave it absolutely everything they had today and they should all be proud of what they have achieved this season.
“That goes for Mitch, too, of course who just wouldn’t give up this weekend in what was his last two races with the team. He fought all the way and has given so much for the team. I wish him all the best for the future.
“Thank you also to all of our partners for their support. We’ll celebrate tonight, but then focus will soon switch to next season and GEN4. We can’t wait.”
Chris Thorp, Chief Corporate Officer and Chairman, JLR Motorsport, said:“What an incredible achievement. Congratulations to our amazing two-time Teams’ World Champions, Jaguar TCS Racing. Securing the Formula E Teams’ World Championship is a remarkable accomplishment and one that everyone across JLR can be immensely proud of.
"Winning the Teams’ World Championship is the ultimate reward for a season defined by determination, innovation and performance. It reflects the extraordinary effort, talent and dedication of our entire Jaguar TCS Racing team. They have demonstrated what can be achieved when a shared ambition is matched by world-class expertise and teamwork.
“At a time when Jaguar is bringing to life its next chapter, this success demonstrates the innovation, teamwork and ambition that continue to define the brand. While
we celebrate this World Championship victory, we also look ahead with excitement
to the beginning of the GEN4 era and the opportunities it will create for Jaguar
TCS Racing.”
Mitch Evans, Jaguar TCS Racing driver #9, said: “Today I’m proud of the way I raced, I’m proud of the team - and we came so close. Again, I was stuck behind Nico Muller and though I was able to get through eventually, I’d simply lost too much time to the lead guys.
“The team’s strategy was spot-on though, so thank you to them for today and for the last ten years. It’s been a great journey together.”
António Félix da Costa, Jaguar TCS Racing driver #13, said: “To take the Teams’ World Championship in my first season with Jaguar TCS Racing is an incredible feeling. I felt at home so early on in my time with the team, and so to achieve what we have done this year is phenomenal and I am so proud of everyone.
“It is unfortunate for Mitch that he just missed out on the Drivers’ title, but he has been a great friend and team-mate throughout the season, and an absolute pleasure to work with. It was a tough battle against the Porsches, but I am just so pleased we got it done on the final day.”
