Its spectacular design undoubtedly makes the Lamborghini Revuelto one of the world’s most thrilling sports car already ex works. The NOVITEC designers opted for developing an aerodynamic-enhancement kit with consistent racing looks for the powerful car with a top speed north of 350 km/h. It received its aerodynamic finishing touches in the wind tunnel. The NOVITEC bodywork components are produced of exposed carbon with a high-gloss clearcoat finish, but can also be painted in vehicle or contrasting color, of course.
The combination of the two NOVITEC front spoiler aero panels at the sides, which also place even greater visual emphasis on the two side air intakes, and the central front blade enhances the sporty looks. These components also produce more front-axle downforce at high speeds, which further optimizes the handling stability. In concert with the NOVITEC hood, which comes either being made entirely of exposed carbon or in vehicle color as in this case here, these upgrades give the mid-engine sports car an even more aggressive face. The headlight trim and the front cover, both likewise made from the same composite material, add further striking visual highlights.
The two more sharply sculpted NOVITEC rocker panels, the aero trim on the scissor doors and the mirror covers are also all made of exposed carbon. They contribute to the even more extravagant side view, as do the NOVITEC alloys tailor-made for the Revuelto.
Once again, the American high-tech producer Vossen served as the competent partner here. Vossen developed custom wheels in three different designs for the top-of-the-range Lamborghini model. In addition, there is a choice of 72 color variants and smooth, brushed, or polished surface finishes.
The vehicle pictured here is fitted with the NOVITEC NL5 design featuring a hub cover in centerlock styling and six spokes that split into the shape of a tapered Y connected to the rim edge. To place even greater emphasis on the wedge shape of the mid-engine sports car, the ultimate combination in the available range comprises wheels of sizes 9.5Jx21 at the front and 12.5Jx22 at the rear. They carry matching high-performance tires of sizes 265/30 ZR 21 and 355/25 ZR 22.
Custom-made for the new wheels are the NOVITEC sports springs, which lower the ride height of the Revuelto by about 25 millimeters and, thanks to the lowered center of gravity, further optimize the handling.
To realize an optimal combination of motor racing design and aerodynamic balance, the NOVITEC team of specialists naturally also developed aerodynamic-enhancement components for the rear end of the top-of-the-range Lamborghini model.
The rear is visually dominated by the retractable NOVITEC rear wing. Immediately apparent is its more sculpted shape with pronounced lip spoiler. This sophisticated design produces even more rear-axle downforce.
The NOVITEC designers’ attention to detail can also be seen in the exposed-carbon hood, which can be supplemented with an additional airbox to optimize the supply of fresh air to the V-12.
A tailor-made surround between the taillights perfectly showcases the four round tailpipes of the NOVITEC high-performance exhaust system. The two pipes in the center have a diameter of 110 millimeters and are thus 10 millimeters larger than the two tailpipes positioned to the left and right of them.
The exhaust systems come in two versions, one of which is made from stainless steel and the other from especially light INCONEL, which is also used in Formula1 racing. All versions are sheathed in elaborate thermal insulation to lower the temperatures in the engine bay. The INCONEL variant offers the option of 999 fine gold plating, which not only looks particularly exclusive, but also further optimizes heat dissipation.
The extraordinary looks of the systems is complemented by sophisticated exhaust gas routing. Optionally, NOVITEC offers an active sound management system by means of integrated butterfly valves, which enable the driver to vary the exhaust note of the V-12 between unobtrusive sportiness and thrilling motor racing sound.
The precisely calibrated systems can be further upgraded with efficient sports catalysts. This combination boosts the output of the V-12 ICE by 24.2 kW / 33 hp entirely without further modifications. The three electric motors of the Revuelto hybrid drive remain untouched. This increases the peak output of the fastest Lamborghini ever to 771 kW / 1,048 hp.
