Saudi Arabia has entered a new chapter in automotive manufacturing with the unveiling of CEER EXOBOT, the first flagship vehicle family from the Saudi automotive company.
Revealed in sedan and SUV forms, EXOBOT introduces a combination of extreme electric performance, locally inspired design and technology developed specifically for the climate and driving conditions of Saudi Arabia and the wider region.
The new flagship also begins a broader product strategy for CEER, with seven models planned by 2030 across different vehicle segments and powertrain choices.
EXOBOT combines futuristic proportions with details influenced by Saudi history and architecture.
Its sculpted surfaces draw inspiration from the ancient architecture of Hegra, while 32 distinctive lighting elements reference 1932, the year Saudi Arabia was unified.
Forged aluminum wheels feature geometric patterns inspired by traditional Al Lahuj architectural openings.
The sedan measures 5.26 meters long, while the SUV measures 5.02 meters. Both also feature a massive 2.4 meter windshield positioned at a dramatic 15 degree angle and treated with a reflective coating designed to reduce solar heat entering the cabin.
One of the most distinctive elements is the Shahin Wing Door design. The nearly three meter doors open upward through a controlled 60 cm arc and take inspiration from the movement of the Shahin falcon.
At its highest specification, EXOBOT uses three electric motors and all wheel drive to produce 1111 hp and 1500 Nm of torque.
The sedan can accelerate from zero to 100 kmh in just 2.1 seconds before reaching a top speed of 250 kmh.
The larger SUV completes the same acceleration run in 2.4 seconds and reaches a maximum speed of 210 kmh.
Continuous torque vectoring and active chassis systems work alongside the electric powertrain to manage the enormous performance and improve stability during demanding driving.
The EXOBOT First Edition will introduce the model with a slightly different power configuration focused on combining performance with usable electric range.
Its three motor system produces 850 hp and 1000 Nm of torque. The sedan accelerates from zero to 100 kmh in 2.6 seconds, while the SUV completes the sprint in 2.9 seconds.
A 112 kWh battery provides a claimed driving range of up to 670 km in the sedan and 560 km in the SUV.
The 800 volt electrical architecture also supports rapid charging from 10 percent to 80 percent in less than 30 minutes under suitable charging conditions.
One of the most region focused technologies found in EXOBOT is the Halo Cooling system.
CEER says the system can reduce cabin temperature from 65 degrees Celsius to 32 degrees Celsius within 10 minutes during extreme heat.
The cooling system works together with special thermal foils, triple silver coated glass and optimized airflow over the roof to reduce the amount of heat entering and building up inside the vehicle.
Separate front and rear climate systems then help distribute cool air quickly throughout the passenger compartment.
EXOBOT replaces the traditional mechanical steering column with steer by wire technology.
The system reduces steering movement from around 400 degrees to 160 degrees, while rear wheel steering improves maneuverability at lower speeds and stability when traveling faster.
Inside, the centerpiece is a 48 inch curved Digital Horizon Display with 8K resolution. It is joined by a 10.4 inch central control screen and an 8 inch display for rear passengers.
The cabin also offers Arabic and English voice assistance, connected vehicle functions, remote climate control, remote parking and wireless software updates.
An immersive audio system uses cabin surfaces as part of the sound experience, creating a more integrated approach than conventional speakers alone.
EXOBOT was designed and engineered locally and will be manufactured at the CEER Manufacturing Complex in King Abdullah Economic City.
CEER aims to reduce the time between ordering and vehicle delivery to weeks through local production and a growing regional supplier network.
The company is also targeting 45 percent local material content in its vehicles by 2034.
EXOBOT therefore represents more than the arrival of another high performance electric car. With Saudi inspired styling, up to 1111 hp, dedicated extreme heat engineering and local production, it introduces the design and technology direction CEER plans to carry across its future vehicle lineup.
