Porsche enters a bold new phase in its electric journey with the debut of the Cayenne Coupe Electric, a model that pushes performance to a level never seen before from the brand. Built on the same platform as the standard Cayenne Electric, this Coupe version focuses on design, aerodynamics, and emotional appeal while maintaining the practicality expected from a high performance SUV With extreme power figures and advanced electric technology, it stands as one of the most exciting launches in the EV performance segment.

Extreme Performance

Extreme Performance

Porsche delivers record breaking performance with the Cayenne Coupe Electric by offering up to 1156 hp in its most powerful form. This makes it the strongest production Porsche ever created, surpassing even high performance models like the Taycan Turbo GT. The car accelerates from 0 to 100 kmh in around 2.5 seconds, placing it firmly in supercar territory despite its larger size and practical layout.

The powertrain includes dual electric motors, one on each axle, delivering all wheel drive performance with intelligent energy management. To improve efficiency, the front motor can disconnect when full power is not required. Buyers can choose between three performance levels, starting with a base model producing 408 hp, moving up to the S version with 544 hp, and reaching the Turbo model that unlocks maximum output with overboost. Advanced chassis systems such as adaptive air suspension and rear axle steering ensure that this performance is matched with precise handling and stability.

Coupe Design

Coupe Design

Porsche reshapes the Cayenne Electric into a more dynamic and sporty form with the Coupe variant. From the front, the car maintains a clean and modern appearance with horizontal lighting elements that emphasize width. However, the transformation becomes clear from the side profile, where a more aggressively sloped roofline creates a sleek and athletic silhouette.

The design also enhances aerodynamic efficiency, achieving a drag coefficient of 0.23. The car sits lower than the standard SUV, giving it a more planted stance on the road. Functional elements such as an adaptive rear spoiler and aerodynamic side features on the Turbo model improve stability at high speeds while adding to the visual drama. These changes give the Coupe a stronger identity while preserving the practicality and comfort expected from a Porsche.

Technology and Interior

Technology and Interior

Porsche focuses heavily on technology inside the cabin, creating a modern and intuitive driving environment. A fully digital instrument cluster works alongside a curved central display and an optional passenger screen, delivering a seamless digital experience. An augmented reality head up display projects key information directly onto the road ahead, improving driver awareness.

The brand also maintains a balance between digital controls and physical buttons, ensuring that the system remains easy to use while driving. Customization plays a key role, allowing drivers to tailor displays, graphics, and app integration to their preferences. Premium features such as an electrochromic panoramic roof and power operated doors add a sense of luxury and innovation to the experience.

Practicality and Range

Practicality and Range

Despite its sporty design, the Cayenne Coupe Electric remains a practical choice for daily use. It offers comfortable seating for four adults and maintains a usable cargo area, supported by an additional front storage compartment. This makes it suitable for both everyday commuting and longer journeys.

The vehicle uses an 800 volt electrical architecture, enabling ultra fast charging at speeds of up to 400 kW. This allows the battery to charge from 10 to 80 percent in around 16 minutes, making long distance travel more convenient. The large battery capacity of approximately 113 kWh ensures strong range performance while supporting the car’s high power output.

Launch and Market Position

Launch and Market Position

Porsche plans to showcase the Cayenne Coupe Electric at the Beijing Auto Show, with order books already open ahead of its official market launch. First deliveries are expected to begin in summer 2026, positioning it as one of the most anticipated electric SUVs of the year.

Pricing has not yet been confirmed for all markets, but early indications suggest a starting point of around 110000 euros. This places it firmly in the premium performance segment, competing with high end electric SUVs while offering a unique blend of power, design, and Porsche driving character. With its combination of extreme performance and everyday usability, the Cayenne Coupe Electric sets a new benchmark for electric luxury performance vehicles.
