XPENG has expanded its UAE electric vehicle lineup with the new P7 Plus, a large five seat fastback designed around long distance comfort, rapid charging and advanced digital technology.
Prices start from AED 164,000, with buyers able to choose between RWD Long Range and AWD Performance versions. Gulf Star Motors, part of Ali and Sons, distributes XPENG vehicles in the UAE through showrooms in Dubai and Abu Dhabi.
Both versions use a 74.9 kWh lithium iron phosphate battery. The RWD Long Range model produces 308 hp and 450 Nm, reaching 100 kmh in 6.2 seconds.
The AWD Performance version increases output to 496 hp and 670 Nm. It accelerates from zero to 100 kmh in 4.3 seconds.
Maximum WLTP range stands at 530 km for the RWD version and 500 km for the AWD model. Both have a top speed of 200 kmh.
One of the biggest highlights is its 800 volt architecture and 5C battery technology. XPENG claims a peak DC charging rate of up to 446 kW.
With a compatible charger and suitable conditions, the battery can charge from 10 percent to 80 percent in around 12 minutes.
An 11 kW onboard AC charger supports home and destination charging. Vehicle to Load functionality also allows the battery to power compatible external devices.
The P7 Plus measures 5,071 mm long and uses a 3,000 mm wheelbase, giving it dimensions closer to a large executive car than a typical compact electric fastback.
Its long wheelbase creates generous rear passenger space, while the fastback tailgate provides easy access to a 573 litre luggage compartment.
Folding the rear seats increases maximum cargo capacity to 1,931 litres. An available electrically deployable towbar also adds extra flexibility for travel and outdoor activities.
XPENG has placed strong emphasis on passenger comfort. Available equipment includes Nappa leather upholstery, extensive sound insulation and front seats with heating, ventilation, massage and memory functions.
Rear passengers can also benefit from heated, ventilated and massaging seats, giving the P7 Plus a stronger executive focus than many electric cars at this price point.
A panoramic glass roof, 256 color ambient lighting, N95 grade cabin filtration and dual 50 watt wireless phone chargers further enhance the cabin.
A 15.6 inch central touchscreen dominates the dashboard, supported by an 8.8 inch driver display, an 8 inch rear control screen and a head-up display.
Apple CarPlay and Android Auto are included alongside connected navigation, voice control, smartphone access and over the air software updates.
The P7 Plus also uses XPENG Turing AI chip architecture with up to 750 TOPS of computing performance. This processing power supports vehicle perception, intelligent assistance systems and future software functions.
A 20 speaker XPENG XOPERA audio system completes the digital entertainment package.
XPILOT ASSIST provides adaptive cruise control, lane centering, active lane changes, autonomous emergency braking, blind spot detection and rear cross traffic alert.
The system also supports automatic parking, remote parking, vehicle summon and a 360 degree surround view. Seven airbags and a structure using ultra high strength steel provide additional protection.
Underneath, the P7 Plus uses double wishbone front suspension and a five link rear setup. This sophisticated configuration is designed to combine ride comfort with better body and wheel control.
The XPENG P7 Plus starts from AED 164,000 and joins the G6, G9 and X9 in the growing XPENG UAE lineup.
Its combination of up to 530 km of range, 446 kW charging, spacious rear seating and extensive comfort technology gives it a distinctive position in the increasingly competitive UAE electric car market.
For buyers considering a premium electric car that combines performance with real passenger space, the P7 Plus deserves a closer look. Visit an XPENG showroom in Dubai or Abu Dhabi, compare both available versions and book a test drive to see whether its rapid charging and comfort focused approach fit your daily driving needs.
