Saudi Arabia’s automotive industry continues to evolve at a rapid pace, and major events remain a key driver behind this transformation. Automechanika Riyadh, the Kingdom’s flagship automotive aftermarket exhibition, now prepares for a stronger return after its 2026 postponement. Organizers confirm that the event will take place from January 11 to 13 2027, bringing together industry leaders, suppliers, and innovators under one roof in a refreshed format that reflects both resilience and long term ambition.
Organizers decided to postpone the 2026 edition due to regional instability linked to ongoing geopolitical tensions, which disrupted travel, logistics, and overall business confidence. These challenges affected multiple major events across the region, leading to delays and cancellations in sectors beyond automotive.
The new schedule places Automechanika Riyadh in early 2027, allowing better planning conditions and stronger participation from global exhibitors. The event also shifts to a new venue at the Riyadh Front Exhibition and Conference Center, offering improved infrastructure and a more modern environment for both exhibitors and visitors. This change signals a strategic move to elevate the experience and accommodate the growing scale of the show.
Automechanika Riyadh plays a critical role in supporting the Kingdom’s expanding automotive aftermarket sector, which is expected to reach a value of 9.6 billion dollars by 2032. This growth reflects increasing demand for parts, services, and technological solutions as the automotive landscape evolves.
The event acts as a platform for collaboration, innovation, and business development, helping local and international companies connect and explore new opportunities. It also aligns with Saudi Arabia’s Vision 2030 strategy, which focuses on industrial diversification and strengthening non oil sectors, including mobility and automotive services.
The 2027 edition is expected to attract more than 19000 visitors and over 500 exhibitors, making it one of the most significant automotive gatherings in the region. It will serve as the first major aftermarket event of the year in Saudi Arabia, setting the tone for business activity across the sector.
Visitors can look forward to a wide range of features, including the return of Automechanika Academy, which will focus on key topics such as electric vehicle readiness, digital transformation, and supply chain evolution. Live demonstrations and product showcases will also provide hands on insights into the latest innovations shaping the industry.
With its new timing, upgraded venue, and expanded scope, Automechanika Riyadh 2027 is set to deliver a more comprehensive experience that connects the right people, technologies, and ideas to drive the future of the automotive aftermarket in Saudi Arabia.
