Driving a rental car or borrowing a vehicle from a friend often creates one surprisingly common problem at the gas station. Drivers pull up to the pump and suddenly realize they do not remember which side of the car has the fuel door.
The answer is usually sitting directly in front of them. A small arrow beside the fuel pump symbol on the instrument cluster tells the driver exactly which side of the vehicle contains the fuel filler door.
